Anyone want to come by and help with flushmount signal install?

That was awesome, man! Thanks for making me snort my coffee LOL

And shoe: yeah I was around for the yetti days. The way krashasaki talks makes me wonder tho...

did yetti ride a kawasaki?

Are you for real!? This forum has waaaay more useful posts then people complaing they got rash cuz they didnt wear gear, or cuz they got a ticket cuz they were going fast. I have seen posts when people have gotten tickets or even rash and have said what they did was stupid. Most people take accountability for there actions.

Your just like the do everything right police! Wear gear!! Make sure you have stock lights!!
Dont ride like a jackass!!
Dude do you ride a vespa!!? ( no offence to the vespa owners). I would bet you own a bright pink vesta and fancy the feeling of a thong on your @ss.
Lighten up dude, you sound like p*&%Y!!

Shhh. Be careful. The spelling police are looking over your posts. Oh and chillax dude.

Show less skin next time. Helps to keep the focus on the job.

hahah I think the bike is noticeable enough....and less skin isnt my style...better to leave something to be desired haha.

Idiots. All of you. Especially Krashasaki.

KawasakiGal, you said they're the Proton flushmount signals right? Yeah, you need to swap in a different relay. Follow this video below. Just don't cut the turn signal wire like he did, he's an idiot. You can take apart the turn signal and disconnect the terminals inside it, so you don't destroy your wiring. If you then find spade terminals for the wires on the Proton lights and solder those on, you'll have a nice clean connection that you can revert back to stock quite easily.

EDIT: Wrote space connectors when I meant spade terminal. Also, no idea why you can't see the video.

Kit didnt require either....Im finding out now it needs either resistors or rela or both... :(

Not both, doing both is a bit of overkill. You can wire one resistor for each LED turn signal (eg. 4 LED light's = 4 resistor's) or you can install a plug n play or wired in relay for all of your light's. These two mod's can fix problem's with light's that wont turn on or light's with an incorrect flash rate.

Turn signals for a given side of the bike tend to be wired in parallel with each other. You should also be able to install just one resistor per side, or just two resistors in total. Just adjust the size of that one resistor per side to reflect the total load (resistor and LED turn signals) you want the flasher to see for that side.

I can't see the video?

REALLY? like REALLY?!. This is a cry for some serious attention...

Instead of playing the whole "I'm a sorry girl who doesn't know how to install lights" role trying proving yourself and doing it alone. Make some attempts first before you make a post for some free work.

This is why girls have such a bad rap when it comes to riding. shouldn't ride if you don't know how to fix it or at least attempt to learn, on your own.

As the title states...have some flushmount lights I would like to install, but a little leary of the electrical part.....so someone with electrical wire cutters would be helpful!

So if she tried it herself and botched the wiring after admitting she's unsure, what would you say then?

Instead of playing the whole "I got everyone figured out" role, try proving yourself and doing something useful instead of posting idiotic remarks.

This is why GTAM has such a bad rep when it comes to posting useful things. Shouldn't post if you don't know **** about people, or at least attempt to get to know them.

She's luring people to her place.

You read it.

Frekeyguy invited her to come up.

I saw that.

He offered to help but not for her original request which was for onsite service.

dude im not that way....im not an bored idiot...so that's my offer.

But I am more than happy to help out forum memebers, like I always have in the past and will be doing in the future. as well....dude or a chick....we'r all riders.

she should be asking for help, insted of "i have a helpless little lamb, come save me, btw I have a vagina" sort of thing....

offer up some beer or something atlest.....

If I was her, id ask a personal freind, not on a internet forum for help....her posts are a cry for wolf/red riding hood

I see where lilsaki is comming from, sounds like she is a chick that works on her own stuff.

I agree that posts/comments that kawi girl posts brings a bad rap to women / women riders....

THIS is why I stopped caring about GTAM a while ago, its a GREAT way to pass my day at work though :D
