Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

you won't have to worry, its only going to be sold in Cali.

IMO, the best thing for pro-hydrogen automakers (BMW, MB, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai + ) would be to pull a Tesla and join forces to start their own Hydrogen fill station business.
Investment for even a small chain of hydrogen stations is so many billions that it can never break even

Here's an example of the pointlessness of hydrogen.

Why does this exist???

It exists because this is a showcase of how Honda is improving with this second generation with better range, and found a way to reduce the manufacturing cost by 1/3 and they are making this "drivetrain" available to the
market to who wants to install it into whatever application they desire.

Interesting to see how this unfolds.

Dumb ideas. 3 g acceleration doesn't seem like a good idea for a road vehicle. Rocket propulsion isn't exactly environmentally friendly.

Parts bin engineering. Take a Model 3 front subframe, a Model S Plaid rear drive module, put a 3/Y battery between them, build a 2 door liftback body around all that, it's okay if the back seats are cramped. Pick sporty spring and damper and bushing settings. Put instruments in front of the driver. Skip the yoke. Put normal turn signal stalks. Skip all the self driving nonsense, the whole point of a sports car is to drive, not be driven.

They'll still have a challenge to match the updated Taycan, and that has four doors. Porsche knows how to do this stuff.

Taycan is depreciating like a stone (probably mostly due to the high initial price). On the upside, by the time MP decides what vehicle he wants, a Taycan may be in his budget.
Hardy har har….

Stupid Mach-E and stupid Maverick. The eff is wrong with me.

don't waste your cash on new, in true German fashion, its value drops precipitously.

Best line I ever heard about buying high end cars when they depreciate....'you get a 150k for 60k, but the bills that come to maintain it are still for the 150k car'.

Man, if I was filthy rich, I'd trade my P2 in on 1 of those in a heartbeat!

To me that is a testament to exceptional engineering if they're "every day" components are robust enough for a world beating under 2 second supercar.

Would make me more proud to own a 3/Y

If you're building a grocery-getter where handling/drive-ability is an afterthought, sure. A sports car? It's comical.

Then again, the back of the plant is littered with partly cannibalized cars and questionable QC'd parts, so...........

continuing the insane theme....

the sweet melodius sound of the V16 HYBRID powered Bugatti,

coming June.
