I like seeing people in their canada goose jacket with their beats headphones plugged into their iPhone5 while riding the city bus. Lol. Priorities.

well it really depends where you're from...if you're in DT Toronto, it's not really feasible to drive down unless you like paying $20 per day for parking.
Yes, they are. I own 3. I can wear nothing but a t shirt underneath and I'm nice and warm.I heard they're extremely warm jackets, so it is silly when people wear them inside shopping malls and such. Now if I had to walk and transit everywhere I'd be more inclined to buy one.

I spend a lot of time outdoors on my job so a good jacket is a must for me.

This is no lie. There was a group of people with Canada Goose on at the scarborough town centre a head of me going towards the exit (mix of old and young people). They were so damned cocky. It was even more funny that they had to take a bus while I was going to my car. Stupidity has no bounds
LOL at canada goose talks.
i haven't read the whole thread but i'd have to say, i didn't spend 1cent on my canada goose jacket. it was given by my cousin. and i've had it for 3 years. i will never ever get another winter coat because of it. it's the warmest i've had by far. so as a product, it is amazing. as per everyone having it, whether it's for cool points or not, there's alot of them because clearly, canada goose is doing something right. (think the honda super cub.)
mind you, a majority stock holder is now american, dubbing it an american company.
I'm sure it's a great jacket, but personally I just couldn't justify that price for a jacket. I think their marketing is bang on as I see them everywhere. There's also a lot of knock offs so they're definitely doing something right if people are knocking them off in such numbers.
I really doubt is costs more than $50-$100 to produce these Jackets. I have nothing against people who really need these jackets in the Northern part of our country who really need it.
Most of the folks wearings these in the malls and offices are only exposed to the cold for what 20 mins throughout the whole day.
Look's like Hudson's Bay Co is next. Why the heck would you buy Saks when this recession is getting worse???

Understood. I literally spend 95% of my shift outdoors(airport) and I can tell you there are much warmer jackets for a lot less money. Albeit probably not as pretty as the CG.
