Gotcha....no big deal if the healthcare in my province is suddenly taken away....just move to another province. Sounds really stupid when I type it. Oh and no guarantees the state I moved to keeps the healthcare that I want because the minority makes the rules.
The minority doesn't make the rules. In a democracy. While democracies are not always one man one vote, representatives are elected to represent constituents interests.

A representative majority is necessary yo make law.

But..healthcare IS managed by the province. So if something that you relied on changed then yes...that is your option.

Lmao yea, nah, that's not an accurate analogy at all. It's a single medical procedure, that can be easily avoided other then in cases of rape, which most states make exceptions for. There is also no chance blue states like California or New York would ever ban it...

A minority is making this rule. US opinion is 60%+ in favour of what was the status quo yesterday. A religious minority is forcing this issue through. For half a century all has been reasonably well except with the ultra religious. For half a century a Supreme Court ruling has been accepted as the rule of the land. What changed?

Come on…easily avoided? Condom breaks…young immature people get carried away…two people have a little too much to drink…..that’s a life sentence for the woman? She should just adjust to an altered existence because of one mistake? You know what’s easily avoided? An unwanted pregnancy through a simple medical procedure that is usually a woman’s last choice.

ehhhh. each state can make it's own decision. the religious get a say too, even if you don't agree with it.

All of those situations can be handled with plan b the next day... no abortion needed.

The Supreme Court rules on constitutional matters, which abortion is not, so they palmed the decision off to the states. The reason the roe vs wade split decision was overturned now, is that there are enough judges following the letter of the law instead of political whims.

I really don't see the issue though, as I said, don't like what your state is doing... move.

Most people here were all for mandating compulsory vaccines last year not respecting people's right to choose what happens to their bodies but are outraged when the Supreme Court in the USA defers a decision to individual states?

Would you believe they can make that illegal?
Already happened in Texas.. you rat on a person who travelled out of state for an abortion, you get a financial reward once it’s proven. Offending party goes to court/jail….

True story…my friend had been told he was infertile by many doctors. Took that as gospel truth. Met a girl, they lived together and not that long after she became pregnant but didn’t notice until too late as they took the doctors word for things. They were young, a kid would have changed everything and they just weren’t ready. She took the world’s most difficult decision and decided to have an abortion. She had to walk through a row of fucktards with banners telling her she was going to hell for what she was about to do. They screamed at her and guilted her on the most difficult day of her life. With all due respect…the religious idiots that hold onto this belief can all just **** off. Don’t like abortions….don’t get one.

they want to ban plan b man....they think it is the same as an abortion. Look it up:

And your last line is pure whataboutism.

Last I heard pregnancy wasn’t contagious with a significant death toll to the elderly.

Shhhh....let's pretend for a second that the next election that the Republicans gain control of the senate and the house.....you don't see an abortion law possible that affects all states? as it stands half the states are red. Why do you think that if the SCOTUS allows states to make abortion illegal they won't do the same to a Federal bill?

Nope.....the SCOTUS is an unelected body that has struck down previous rulings. 35% of americans have taken away the rights of 100% of Americans.

But you do have the choice to vaccinate or not. Choice has just been removed from 39 million women for this issue!

When your representatives make moves you don't agree with, you either vote them out or move somewhere that aligns with what's important to you.

This argument seems very similar to the 'choice' many people whose jobs mandated they be vaccinated had to make.
