250 riding group

Have to take a car, no bike this year. Not so easy just to "ditch" the car. I'm camping and taking a friend (who doesn't ride or even drive) and driving straight through. Plus I'm picking up my cousin in Moncton and taking him home to Ingonish for the 2 weeks. I know what the Cabot is, I've been there almost every other summer since I was born and driven it many, many times. My mom was born and grew up in Sydney, so I know the island quite well. My mom's cousin even owns 2 km of beach just north of Ingonish right on the Atlantic. Never anyone but me and my family there! My grandmother lives right on the trail just north of Ingonish, too.
 
Alhope would you care if I make you the leader of bigger bikes group if they do show? I'm hoping not many will since its a 250 group ride lol

That's fine with me, but I'm not gonna go more than 20 km over the limit, like I said. Also, I'm not 100% yet. I'll know for sure later tonight. I'll most likely come out, though.

Ok, confirmed, i'm in for tomorrow, also bringing a 600 as well. Again, if there's anyone in Brampton or Mississauga North that cannot do 400 series highways or don't want to I will be at the gas station at Hwy 50 and CountrySide Drive (SE corner) until about 7:00 AM then i'm headed east to the meet point via Hwy27 north up to King Rd and then a quick jaunt up Yonge to Bloomington and east to Markham Rd.where the gas station is on the SE corner.

See everyone at the meet point. If you need help I am also bringing a Gps and foldable map. Txt me at 416-457-5745
 
I would appreciate if everyone who has a GPS puts the route in it, that way you are not only relaying on the leader..

please be there @ 8:30 so we can all have a talk, this wont be the 5 minute chichat we usually have at group rides, is a noob ride so I will be making a speech and I don't want you to miss it! :D

:confused2: give me a day to recover... doing lead is hard, too fast, too slow, too much gas, not enough gas .. :angry1: and I don't get to see the crazy ladies coming out of the bush all high in diet coke!!

lol it was fun guys :) thank you all for coming, sorry if I was a bit preachy at the start.. And I am glad the only casualties were the bugs on everyone's helmets!!

I'm planning a ride to the Muskoka area for either Saturday August 11th or Saturday 18th. Which would work best for everyone?

Also, M2 would be required for this ride. Jinni, you said you get yours in 2 weeks, right?
