We meeting away from city area to avoid the group from getting separated at city lights. Also, due to you! our new rider (thanks for putting yourself in that group) we are not taking highway :) so I'll have to be up way earlier than you!! lol now quit complaining :p

and your comfortable doing a 2up on your second day?? impressive..

I was looking at going to that road '35' a couple days ago, but I dont think I could ride that long without taking a couple of loooong breaks..

btw to new riders , it will be more than 8 hours ride for sure totaling 12 hours with stops ...so be ready for long ride, water and snacks ...u know

Damn that's a crazy route! 8 hours is definitely more than what I can do in a day...

yeah , so we will meet at 7:30am dundas and dixie timmies to go to meeting place , please PM me if there r more sauga or brampton riders who r coming to this group riding to join bigger group riding to go to up north algonquin ...

I might be interested as well depending on whether another ride goes or not. I've done this route before as well and I do ride a ninja 250.
For those that haven't been to the 507 before the hwy itself is a 70kph 2 lane (1 lane up one lane down) road. Please keep in mind there likely will be other bikes on the road and if enforcement is light you will likely see other bikes doing 160+ on the 507 (keep your eyes open and do not cross the center lines). You are also in Canadian Shield meaning off road jaunts will be a ditch followed by rock in many/most places.
Don't mean to scare people but as always ride within your capabilities. My last ride had 2 people go down with the one causing the crash being a noob thinking they could ride as well as the experienced riders.

As a point of reference, I found on the Ninja 250 stock tires (IRC's) 120 kph through the corners were fine. I'm on bt-016's now so if i can make it it's going to be fun.

Another note, there are no gas stations on the 507. The only one is at the bottom and after you are done at the top.
I would suggest the group break up into in essence slower and faster groups with leaders and sweep for both.

I hate you right about now!!! lol

Me going to tell the faster riders to stick it :thebirdman: .. n to meet us at the end of 507 :) ... I invited the new rider in question, so I am kinda responsible for a safe return home. If anyone going for the ride feels like the ride is going to slow for their liking, well the route was posted, print out the directions and see you back at TO :) ... I expect to see pig tails and plan to ride with that mindset.
