2010 Suzuki GSXR-600

I just got mine from Suzuki of Newmarket today. Can't say I am impressed with there service other than Jason in sales. He straightened everything out for me. They couldn't quite match snowcity. At the time snow city had 8495 plus tax and suzuki of newmarket at 8995 plus tax. I made a fuss about some stuff and they ended up giving me the 8495. Maybe they are lower now. Next time I would go to snowcity before SON.

I bought my 2010 GSXR600 from Snow City for $8495 + tax (that's it)

I gave SON the opportunity to take my business, but the best they could do was $8795. Obviously not going to drive farther and spend $300 more.

So far all dealings with Snow City have been absolutely fantastic. I've been dealing with Mike, the sales manager there. They were kind enough to hold onto the bike until its warm enough to ride back.

I was very impressed that Mike personally introduced me to all the staff at Snow City, and made it quite clear that if I need anything, they will be there.

Not impressed with Suzuki of Newmarket. Went in there in November with money in pocket to buy a 2010 600 and they would not touch $9000 out the door. Its always one price then.. PDI, Feight and all the other BS.. next thing you know your $9600-$9700. I know they move alot of bikes.. but I have several friends that have also had negative experiences.. IMO.... Ended up going elsewhere and getting a better deal..

what?
so because they didn't sell you the bike at the price you wanted, they're to blaim?
So to understand what type of person you are, your friends have bad experiences, you STILL go there to give them your business, then when you don't get what you turn on them too..

nice...

I bought mine from SON a month ago for around 9700 OTD. I went to Snow City first, because it's just up the street, but they only had the blue and grey ones left. I preferred the white and blue, so off to SON I went. Originally I talked to Jason, but he wouldn't budge on the 8995 price. After a quick talk to the manager, they knocked it down for me. I thought their sales staff were very good and they are holding the bike for me until the weather gets nice enough to ride it back.

I have had nothing but good experiences with SON and even purchased some items from their gear store. I won't take it there for service though. Way too far and I have heard that's where they lack in service quality.

what kind of financing rate does suzuki give?

Will be picking up my 2010 GSXR600 from SON in 2 weeks. Bought it at the show back in January for 8395 + Tax. Bought $1000 worth of gear from them too. Finance rate i beleive is 8.4 but im not 100% on that one.

State farm offers very good financing options OAC.

Got 4.9% APR over the phone.

First off... you don't know me and don't really appreciate the tone... I avoided going into details on the exact experience I had with them in order to not bad mouth them on the site and because it was not directly related to the post. I did go there even after my friends had negative experiences as I believe in giving retailers a chance as every transaction is different. I'm not saying that everyone will have the same experience but I was not impressed with the sales side of their business. My opinion is not just based on the fact that I did or didn't get the price I want. My opinion is more based on the fact that they basically didn't turn my offer down and basically told me to come back when they were more desperate to sell the bikes or if the manufactuer would cough up more of a discount.. Just seemed very unprofessional... Once again.. Not turning on anyone.. Just my opinion..

PS. I have shopped there for gear and found them helpfull

Went to snow city to buy a seadoo (20" boat), no one approached me and they ignored me so I walked away, to bad for them because I knew what i wanted and was ready to buy it.

That's just it. All we want is an acknowledgement. Don't even have to do the sales pitch. Just a simple Hello when someone comes through the front door is basic customer service 101.

Quick question, does anyone have an idea as to why they are so cheap? My brother is looking into purchasing one possibly sometime this week. Curious as to know what it has toward the other 600 ss? Is it a slug? Somebody have some answers? Thnx.

Because the 2011s are here, and they are better. Arguably the best SS600 jap bike for the moment.

.

i bought a new 2010 gsxr 600 from SON at the end of October for 7000+ tax. They only had 2 left on the floor and i offered them cash so with tax and everything i managed to walk out with it for 7400 cash. Not too bad i dont think.

Seems kinda doubtful... IMO

SON was being a ***** about dropping 500 off their list price of 8995...to price match snow city I was paying cash as well. I just don't see a $2000 drop off the already hugely discounted bike.

i know it sounds doubtful and i probably wouldn't believe it either, but that is the only reason why i bought it in the first place. i was really thinking about paying a bit more for a used CBR but then i called and the guy said 7000+. So i went there, told him i had cash and he said 7400 (just around there) and i said **** yea ill take it! I realize it doesn't seem believable but i have no reason to lie? lol
