2010 Suzuki GSXR-600

check bike classifieds, looks like brampton is trying to get rid of 2 2010 gsxr600 at 7999. pretty sweet price for a new 600 i guess but damn those colors are ugly

Now they changed the price to $8499 plus tax. They got greedy.I was told three days ago by a sale person that the price $7999 plus tax is good till end of September..Brampton cycle should honor what they say to their customer.

The owner of the dealership who by the way owns all of the dealerships in that auto mall got a little greedy when the demand went through the roof with that special price. He owns Classic Honda also and combined with Brampton Suzuki move ton of bikes.

Went buy on Saturday and they said they will still honor the 7995 price. They have three white and two blue left. Looks like I will be picking one up this week. I don't think you will ever get into a bike of that caliber new for that price again.

Cheers

Im sure a deal like this will be available in march as well.... Well hopefully ;)

That's what I was thinking but this price is at cost 0 margin and who knows what will happen in the spring.

All I know is when there is a good deal jump on it! Seems that when I don't i regret it!!

What was the actual OTD price if you don't mind?

Pulled the trigger last night at Suzuki of Brampton after a ton research over the last two weeks and in nut shell this is a great deal on a 2010 if your in the market. Compare used and any other current year SS and there is nothing that comes close in terms of pricing. We can sit hear and debate forever as to what is the best SS 600 on the market is but based on all the research I have done all the experts and shootout's nit pick on some of fine details. My main criteria was how the bike handled on the street day to day as I ride as hobby but do go out on long tours beyond 2-3 hours.

I had narrowed down my choices to the 600RR and GSXR 600. Test drove a ZX6-R, great bike handled like a dream but had a cardboard seat and for my frame just felt cramped. Test drove both the Zuk and RR, both were very comfortable, had a less aggressive riding position. They were dead even in my eyes however the Zuk won out as the price was 2000 cheaper than I was able to find for even an 09. This is coming from a person that has no brand allegiance what so ever.

Now I have been shopping for the last three weeks and when this special posted I nearly fell off my chair because it was on par with used 08's. Even checked in the US and new 09's were only slighted cheaper then the 2010.

Anyway in a nutshell if you are in the market for a new GXSR 600 don't wait, they will either be sold out or the rebate gone before you know it.

Also, just wanted to give a huge thumbs up to Scott and Tom at Suzuki of Brampton. Great guys really know there stuff and made this purchase a breeze.

Ride safe!

Just curious did you finance or buy the bike off? If financed how much was the rate?

I bought it outright.

I have never purchased a new bike in my life, and have never owned a gixxer! These prices however are quite good! I contacted SOB about the 750 pricing though, not the 600. I think the 750 is one hell of a bike!
Just a real nice combination!! So if they can do me a deal on that white 750 they have, im all over that!

Well picked up the bike yesterday and all I can say is wow! The poweplant is a given on any ss but tHe handling and suspension is butter smooth on this bike as is the clutch and the throttle. If SuzukI was aiming to make this bike user friendly then they have succeeded And kudos' to them. I've already driven 300k, and am in love. The drive mode types work to perfection. In fact for city driving I would keep it in drive mode C. It's fuel efficient, very smooth throttle and clutch. The handling is a dream and inspires confident. I haven't been over 8k rpm and can't imagine going over it, in a blink of an eye your at speed, gearing so smooth both on upshifts and handling and it absorbs every little bump in the road with aplomb. I can't express how happy and impressed I am with this bike. I don't care for a pure track bike I wanted a nice ss that knew how to handle city streets.

I'm sure the other bikes in this category are good in their own right. Please know I'm not saying the gxsr is the best bike out there just based on my limited experience and riding the last two days if your looking for both a tiger and a kitten I think the gsxr might be your best bet.

Cheers

Did you ever get a price on the 750? I think the rebates changed for Oct. $2k off the 750's and $2.5k off the 600's according to Suzuki's site.
