OP didn't mention the GSXR600.
How is its rideability stack up against the CBRrr?
Call it 07-current

I am not a huge fan of the styling of the front-end of the gixxer, though I did look at one yesterday in person and was impressed with the rest of the bike.OP didn't mention the GSXR600.

Ya I like the 2010 front end on the gsxr600...I don't like the current model as much (but its not bad) it just seems like they have returned to the 08 style headlight.
The gsxr seems to have more features ,gear indicator and I think its got a shift light.
Not that you really need those but I like the gear indicator, sometimes when crusing at lower speed I forget if I'm in 2 or 3 lol.
The other thing I like about the gsxr over the cbr6rr is the tail is already all integrated. Just buy a $20 fender eliminator kit where the honda yer into it a few hundred for a fender eliminator and undertail light.
Not a deal braker...just a little nicer.
Although I think the 2013 cbr has a undertail light stock.
03+ R6 (and any year R6S) have a shift light as well. It's not really useful for shifting but it's a two stage shift light that'll blink as you're getting close to the rev limiter (which is good, cause when you hit the rev limiter it just about throws you over the handlebars).and I think its got a shift light.
99.3% of all fender eliminators are illegal, just so you knowSince I am buying used many (not all though) of the bikes I have looked at have fender elims already installed which is nice
How are they illegal? As long as you have all your lights should be good to go.03+ R6 (and any year R6S) have a shift light as well. Doesn't say must be oem....i can technically add a ziptie and say it's a mini fender lolSCHEDULE 6

Two of my friends got tickets last year for "no mud flap", due to fender eliminator. How are they illegal? As long as you have all your lights should be good to go.
They'd only give you a ticket for no mudflap with that one, possibly with the plate not being mounted to the rearmost of the vehicle. Depending on how well/wide that LED is I could assume improper plate illumination as well.Mine is like this. Surely they can't say it's not visible. No signal mods etc. I get it about the ones shoved basically in front of the rear tire but the subtle ones shouldn't be illegal.

On my famous 507 run 13 tickets were given out for fender eliminators, they consisted of "signals not far enough apart", improper license plate illumination, plate not visible (partially obstructed by passenger pegs) and something about the license plate not being mounted to the rearmost part of the vehicle??? Was so retarded.

I may have overly advertised the date and time our group was to arrive there. As soon as we turned the first corner on the 507 there were 10 to 15 OPP parked along the side of the road. A few of them had huge SLR cameras and were taking photos as we rode by. Unknown to me the group of cops pulled in behind the group and started pulling over bikes one at a time. A cop pulled in front of our group (I was 2nd) and we did 80kph for the entire 507, awesome fuel economy compared to what I usually get on the 507!!! lol.Ah 507, I work on a road that many take to get there. Sure its a sort of twisty road but what's the point with all the cops?
Yeah during the summer I see probably a cop for every 20 bikes that go by.
Yeah, and the 507 is only fun at like 170+on the 507? If so then what's the point of riding this road? It's like hockley, forks of the credit etc. Crawling with radar and cops all the time. Doesn't sound fun to me. I would think the 28 through apsley and up around bancroft would be more enjoyable?
