1st whiny rant, sorry

I will talk to the bank tomorrow. Find out how to stop the withdrawals. Is it hard to do?

Talked to the service desk today. I have to wade thru quicksand to make it happen. I wonder if I talk to a different service person tomorrow I'll get a more amenable response? Anybody have any incite on this procedure?

And by the by, get this, the charity has increased the withdrawal amount (to adjust for inflation?? lol) can they even do that?? I'll answer that: yes lol

The banking system here is ludicrous. They make everything much harder then it has to be and keeping your privacy seems optional.

Third times a charm. Finally got an old school teller. Got it done. Two previous punks said it can't be done rather than admit they don't know how or call for help. I guess the big banks pay minimum wage these days. Anyway, enough patting myself on the back. I wonder what kind of watch OpenGamit wears?

It should take about 5 minutes to have a pre-authorized debit stopped, with a competent person behind the counter.

I had a friend who was sponsoring a child, they sent a letter to the family to inquire about the chld only to find out the child had passed away months earlier.:(

My sponsored child has a living mother and father. For some reason I didn't expect that either.
