Only been here a short while, this romping room seems like the right place.

OK, let's roll. Just received the year end package from sponsored destitute African needy child Plan. Onboard 5 yrs. at roughly $35 bucks a month. Happy to do it. What's the problem? Every picture I've received shows the kid in dirty rags. 5yrs. no improvement. Why?

The kid never looks happy. Looks ashamed. Why don't they buy a skid of B/N clean T shirts @ pennies a pop from one of the more progressive neighbouring countries? Sheesh. .

And get this. The photo de jour him with HIS FLY DOWN!!!! Help me understand,

my guess would be that if they send you pic's of the kid looking and dressing like sh#t they are hoping you will send more money.

Well, that's where I'm going with this. I pisses me off that we're so flagrantly marketed to in every facet of our lives. It's very insulting when you pay attention to it. Usually it just floats by.

So stop giving them your money. Give it to me instead. I will use it to buy shiny new collars for my dogs and even send you a pic of them all once a year.

The first part of your post is delightful. The rest confuses me.
 
Because all your money goes towards the commercials and those photo packages and very little of it gets to the children, aside from a couple bowls of porridge a day.

think about this for a second.. Live-Aid was in 1985.. that was 27 years ago. there have been BILLIONS of dollars donated towards african famine yet they are no better than they were 27 years ago. why do you think this is ?

let nature take its course and Put a DNR on africa.

if you really want to donate, help out your own community. donate towards womens shelters, abused children...etc.
lets help canadians first. they we'll worry about the rest, later

what kind of dogs? if they are manly sporting dogs and not frufru lap dogs I'll donate to get them new collars. But if you want shiney collars I'm thinking they are frilly dust mop style dogs.

post a picture of the dogs first.

Alaskan Malamute 130lbs got him from a bad home that was beating him.
Shepard cross 65lbs got her from the pound (they are now both lap dogs)

Better off donating condoms more then anything, I don't see why they should have like 10 children when they can't even feed themselves....
 
I will talk to the bank tomorrow. Find out how to stop the withdrawals. Is it hard to do?
