I did the route about 8 years ago on my sons GSX650F. Camping and fishing gear. The scenery along the ride is fantastic. I enjoyed it so much I went back with my wife and a travel trailer for 2 weeks vaction. Such great campsites and friendly people.
If you have the option It's better to build the shop on your property. I moved out of Oakville 6 years ago to north of Waterdown and had built a heated 24x30 workshop with 16ft ceiling. Bike lift, car lift and a few bikes fill it up pretty quick so no matter how big you build it you will always...
Depends on where you bought your bottle. I just went through this last week. Bought my bottle from TSC about 6 years ago. Called around and no one would fill it locally because it wasn't one of theres so I called TSC (now Peve) they told me they diddn't sell me a bottle and they wont fill it...
I have never been but would like to go to Daytona bike week at least once. Anyone been there and can recommend good routes to take and RV sites. I've look on google maps and camping sites but any recommendation can also help.
In 1992 took the FJ1200 down the Blue Ridge to Deals Gap. Sport Bike Rally in Parry Sound for 17y as well as Americade. Camping gear loaded. Its a great old sport touring machine.
Agreed. Check fuel tank cap diaphragm. I had an issue with mine. There is a quick mod for it. I still ride my FJ 1986. Owned it since 1990. Lots of info on the fj owners forum.
I have dial indicator, dial plunger indicator, vernier, bore gauges and micrometers. I'm in Freelton but you can borrow any one of them or all of them if you want to pick up. Send me a PM
Just a thought. Was the fuel tap turned and left on to Prime instead of On position. This is used when the bike hasn't been ridden for a while to get extra fuel into the carbs as well as the choke.
I have a 2003 with this set up.
I got the 5x7 for Blue this year 2021. Skied once before shutdown and 5 times since it opened back up. Good conditions but quite busy as the schools are still out and a lot of people not at work. I normally get the season pass at Holiday Valley USA but with boarder shut down couldn't get in.
When chains get dried out or rust inside link barrels the take the form of the sprocket when wrapping around then are tight on the straight because they can not flatten out. If it's a seal O ring chain. Replace it.
Just waiting for my Insurance guy to get back to me.
