    Wednesday Aug24th All Day Ride

If you are willing to meet me somewhere along the way,(I'm WAY out east, in Newcastle) I may be up for this. I've rode the area several times, and am pretty comfortable with it.

    Yamaha FZ8?

+1. I never liked the half fairing. Full fairing or naked.

    Yamaha FZ8?

I'm not sure where you're getting this idea from. I've been keeping an eye out for an FZ8. I've yet to see a used one on Auto Trader or Kijiji.

I know it was only 4 seconds...but I still want them back.

Recommendation on transport vehicle (van, cargo van, etc.) to move motorcycle around?.

Do a Kijiji search for "enclosed cargo trailer". There are loads of them for a good price. I've got a 5x10 with a ramp door on the back. You just ride the bike (or sled) right into it. It works great. I love it. They also make for great, lockable storage. Here's one example of many...

Looking for a bike lift and stands for a V-star 1100

I had the same problem with my old Shadow Spirit. The supports just weren't long enough on the Canadian Tire lift. I made new (longer) supports out of angle iron and it worked well after that. The new support rails on mine are 13 7/8". I sold the bike, so if you want mine, you can have it for...

    Decent Suzuki dealerships...

I know it's way too far east for most guys on this site, but I've always had great service at Asselstines in Blackstock. (just north of Bowmanville) http://www.asselstines.com/

    Paint Job Write Up

Looks good! Thanks for the inspiration. I'm thinking of painting mine this winter, due to an unfortunate incident involving my bike and my brother in laws freshly graveled driveway.

How much are you guys paying for a new Ninja 250r?

Thanks for the responses guys. I got a little impatient, and went out this morning and bought one. Cameron Cycle in Peterborough has some leftover 2010s. I think I got the last red one. I know there's still at least one blue and one black. I just need to get a lowering kit now--wife's only 5'...

How much are you guys paying for a new Ninja 250r?

I'm looking for a Ninja 250 for my wife. After looking at the ridiculous prices most guys are asking for their used ones, I've pretty much decided to go new. I've got a dealer price on a new leftover 2010 for $4674, including PDI and freight. I'm just wondering if this sounds like a good price.

Best place to get hitch installed (wired)?

These guys put hitches on a few of my vehicles. (One was an '08 Montana, but I don't remember how much exactly) http://www.eastontruckcaps.com/ Good guys--honest, and reasonable.

Any middle-age riders on this forum?

Tigertail, PM me next week, if you want to go for a ride. I'm in the southeast end of Durham Region, and have a fairly flexible schedule. My wife just got her M2, so probably no more 2ups. I'm mid forties, and like to ride "spirited", but not stupid.

Help finding a low bike for my wife

Thanks for the responses guys. I agree with the confidence thing. I think she will be okay on a bit taller bike once she gains some confidence, but for her first riding experience, I think she would be better off if she could flat foot, or at least almost flat foot. Does anyone know where I...

    Flat tire repair kit?

Any bicycle shop will have CO2 tire inflators. I don't know how many cartridges it would take to fill a motorcycle tire. Make sure that the inflator will do Schrader valves, and not just Presta valves
