Looking for a bike lift and stands for a V-star 1100

i did buy the crappy tire lift a while ago, and found the bike was rather unstable on it, so I took it back. But I've got two new tires and need to take the wheels off.

So, does anyone know of a good jack that will work with my V-star? I found that the Crappy tire version's supports just weren't long enough. In addition, anyone know of a decent set of stands that will work; that aren't too expensive?

Have you tried Princess Auto?
I haven't used any of their lifts myself so I can't comment on them.

I had the same problem with my old Shadow Spirit. The supports just weren't long enough on the Canadian Tire lift. I made new (longer) supports out of angle iron and it worked well after that. The new support rails on mine are 13 7/8". I sold the bike, so if you want mine, you can have it for $50. PM me if you're interested.

Interesting. The CT stand worked fine for my Vulcan 2000, which is a MUCH bigger bike than either of yours.
