    Rosey Toes Safety?

I went to him when I kept hearing clicking noises from the front when breaking. He test-rode it in the driveway and said there's no problems. A few months later I went to get it safetied at a different mechanic (why oh why!!) and lo and behold they didn't like the steering head bearings. Don't...

Permit parking on street - wtf? i got a ticket?

Ah that sucks. Sometimes I hang my permit from the velcro patch near the mirrors on my cover. Sometimes I don't. Haven't had the pleasure of getting a ticket yet, but let me go attach that now...

Joe Rocket Alter Ego pants - M

They've only been used a few times. Too large for me. The size is M. In terms of waist size, I'g guess it's around 34-35. They have removable liner and removable panel for hot weather. Asking $120, they retail for around $190 + tax so this is a great deal if they fit you.

    Rider gets slapped

No idea what I would've done. I think my initial reaction would've been extreme surprise (which is what probably happened with the rider). Rage may set in too late to react and oh how that would suck! On the bright side a criminal charge is a good outcome.

Durham police constable threatens to beat up man and plant cocaine on him, video

I think handling the issue internally means telling the cop "make sure you're not being recorded next time".

Women's Pants - which to buy?

I'd definitely recommend the scorpion pants. Worked great for my girlfriend. Tbh, my baggy riding pants and I were a little jealous. They had a pair at cycle world at one point. May be worth trying them out and ordering a different size if the one they have is no good.

Need Advice for working on my GS500F

I changed my GS's chain over the winter. Was going to do a valve clearance check but never got to it. There's a great video somewhere off of gstwins which you've probably seen. Seems fairly simple except it involves a bunch of steps to get to the valves and you may end up needing a new valve...

Rider down on King & Sherbourne April 9th

A colleague reported seeing a rider being loaded into an ambulance around 5 pm at King and Sherbourne yesterday. Hope they are alright. Terrible riding conditions yesterday and plenty of streetcar tracks around there.

Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

Some Toronto cop goodness: http://www.thestar.com/news/gta/article/1319879--officer-terminator-violated-charter-rights-judge-rules At least the judge had some sense in him. Not that there will be any disciplinary action for the "the terminator".

Opinion on USED NINJA 250 prices.

I know that's not what you're asking, but I'd look at the suzuki gs500 as well. They actually go a little cheaper than the ninja (I'm selling mine in the spring) and are great starter bikes well. You may even end up keeping it for a couple of years if you're short on cash - it'll hold its own on...

    CBF600 anyone?

You know, I was looking at the VFR at some point, but I have my gripes with its looks as well. I think I can get used to the cbf's design. I've stared at enough pictures and videos by now to be able ignore some things. Plus, as my looks fade with age, the bike will fit me even better :p. Yeah...

Thanks for the input. I think I'll go for it (EXCITING).

    CBF600 anyone?

Oh, I definitely agree that the triple would be funner. My problem is wind protection as I'd like to be able to go on extended trips, some of them on the highway. It was actually my initial plan back when I got the GS.
