Durham police constable threatens to beat up man and plant cocaine on him, video

Well at least he didn't get a paid vacation

Jesus. Anything less than full-out termination would be too lenient.

Is it just me, or is Durham been getting some pretty bad attention lately?

Video is a year old.

It's too bad some officers are like that. This was over the top

How can someone like this remain employed, in a position of power.

Under the act, a police chief may resolve such an issue informally without a hearing if he or she believes it was not of “a serious nature.”

To me it clearly shows that his actions are deemed "acceptable" in the eyes of Durham Police.

That's the most accurate and real police video i've ever seen on tape.
Some people just can't accept that the police force is a criminal organization in itself.

and why hasn't this thread been hidden under the rug in the bad cops thread yet? :dontknow:

Some officers?
I would say majority have done this at some point in there career.
I must say I have had a few cops do this exact same thing to me, trying to bully and intimidate you to admit to something.

Most cops I've dealt with have been very courteous and professional. This sort of behavior is inexcusable and the prick should be held criminally responsible.

More typical than some would have you believe.

This reminds me, I once got pulled over for inadvertently cutting a cop off in Toronto (the intersection was really wavy and unmarked!!, but yes, I know...). The cop was really obnoxious, waving his flashlight all over the inside of my car and pointing it on me. Then he asks "what's in that plastic bag you're hiding?" I didn't even know what he was talking about. Turns out it was a a bubble gum packaging wrapper I had in my cup holder. Didn't think I looked particularly suspicious or threatening, so I decided the cop was just being an ***.

These people cannot do a real job becasue they are just animals. Some people just wanna see the world burn.

I think handling the issue internally means telling the cop "make sure you're not being recorded next time".
