Reminds me of what happened when a well-known grocer (Quattrochi) was killed here in Kingston. The police managed to keep the fact that two cops were racing each other through the city fairly quiet "in the interests of the public good." Newspapers just hinted at it, but of course you can't keep something like that quiet in a small city.

Anyway, article:

This is from 2010, but i just saw it for the first time.
This could be the winner of the thread, not only does it take 6 of these idiots to restrain an unconscious man, they have to beat him and kick him a few dozen times to show how cowardly cops really are.
Bunch of total pussies.

This could be a contender for the 2013 hypocrite cop awards.

That's quite the stretch. Looked like buddy was back talking to the unmarked guy, then moved up when he was finished. The guy then accelerates at a speed to allow him to change lanes. Then he goes into the further driveway instead of slamming on his brakes to make the first one.

Grasping at straws is what that story is.

Some Toronto cop goodness: http://www.thestar.com/news/gta/art...erminator-violated-charter-rights-judge-rules

At least the judge had some sense in him. Not that there will be any disciplinary action for the "the terminator".

I'd say that falls squarely into the "bad cop" category, the only good part is, innocent people won't get framed by a criminal with a badge anymore
He should be thrown in jail, the punishment doesn't fit the crime.
In fact, since he planted the drugs, he should be charged with possession of cocaine at the very least..
I hope the victim gets paid damages.

Another stellar example of a bad cop (this one is Barrie, video cameras once again catch a huge bag of lies).

I don't understand the police resistance to cameras. It would seem to make your job a lot easier if you had a video of the events as they occurred. No more having to describe or prove what happened. Just show the video in court and identify the subject. That is unless you don't want your actions recorded as the paperwork is easier if you can makeup whatever the hell you want.

I was waiting for that one to get posted up.

Agreed, but if found guilty and then gets fired, how much of a claim would the police force have to recoup monies paid? I would think the wiser choice would be to suspend without pay, and make a retroactive settlement if found not guilty.
