Sorry, not sure how much I can help. I played it with VLC player and Media Player Classic Home Cinema (MPC-HC) which came with the k-lite codec pack, both played it fine.

Download FLV player and latest codec and you'll never have this problem again

I tried playing FP2 on my PS3 and indeed there was no sound. I played this FP3 file and it worked fine.
