MotoGP 2014

Rossi is no saint.
I never said that, but if what you have to go back as an example of Rossi whining is back to 2010, I would stand on my comments that he is not a whiner.

I also said it was fair for bradl to shove him off the track after all is racing, I know I would be ****** if I am fighting for a podium and someone over rides their ability and takes me out.

Now if you point is to argue or prove me wrong, then i am sure there are all kinds of points you can bring up, you would think you will be more relax being on permanent vacation and all ;)

Why is there no canadian riders in moto gp? Or is there?

Where would they come from? Not from playing hockey ... just kidding.

There's no strong program to speak of for young riders in Canada. You are not becoming just motoGP rider, you start through Rebull 125 series, graduating to moto3, then moto2 and then if you are lucky motoGP.

But don't be sad, no good hockey players will ever come from Spain, Italy or UK .... :-)

With out a doubt we lack an industry for developing the # of young riders that other countries do.

Tho 3 young Canadians did try out for Red Bull Rookies last year.

Nope. Closest we've come in recent memory was Brett McCormick riding in World Superbike in 2012.

Money is a big factor. Unless you are a #1 rider or can big huge sponsorship dollars you are paying for your ride in most cases.

Money on it's own will not do it, you have to have a talent and a lot of it .... kind of look at Karel Abraham ... daddy has deep pockets to the point of owning the track in Brno, Czech Republic ..... he's just riding at the end of the pack. If he doesn't crash, it's a good weekend. There's not a bone in his body which has not seen a cast .... point is Abraham didn't come through the lower classes winning ... he just bought his way in basically.

It's a discussion forum. We were discussing. But you totally win the game of "First to tell the other guy to 'RELAX!'" ;)
Just don't appreciate your tone towards me in a thread that we have all tried to maintain civilized discussions and not another bickering marathon like every other GTAM thread. Now you can win the contest of calling me sensitive.

End of thread derailment on my part and my last comment on this.

That's a beauty track and was a great race to watch.

This contradicts itself no?

In Abrahams's defence, he's been having a much better year (so far) than he did last year. Now that he's riding the same bike as a few others, it shows that he isn't the absolute worst.

But if anyone needs some time in the least-fortunate lime-light, it's Bautista. 3 races, 3 KO's, 0 points. It's no surprise Lorenzo was happy with third, especially when he was facing the same sort of pressure and expectation as Bautista - if not more as a high profile factory rider.

Funny thing is that Bauptista I think is probably riding the best he has ever (when he manages to stay on the bike)

Herrin has Bautista beat hands down. 3 races, 2 crashes on the first lap, 1 broken collarbone.

Hey just cant believe the quality of ride Dani put in, in Argentina. I wish him and Marc could have fought it out.

Nope ... daddy has money, but son doesn't really have talent past some regional racing = GP racing fail .... the guy won one, that is one, moto2 race and that's it!!

It must be a combination of both (whether your own money and sponsors backing, but usually they will not back you if you are not a winner or have at least enormous potential), money or just talent will not usually do it on it's own.
