ZX-10 getting spanked by a station wagon @ 300 kmh

If that's the tree I can't believe it and the dumbass driver are still standing after his car got clean split in two...

Pull your head out of your backside and have a look at the safety record on the Autobahns. It isn't speed, it's driver skill and education. Canada fails in both categories.

He's probably the type of "concerned rider" who would open his cage door on someone for filtering or dial 911 for someone doing 121km/h.

German engineering. If I didn't love my Mitsu so much I'd go over to the dark side.

ZX-10 is governed at 300km/h but it looked like he was pushing the redline in 6th anyway, my Mitsu could easily overtake at that speed as well, but like others said, never off the line.

The Autobahn is great, stupid fast and effective and SO much more civil than our highways. The parts that go through major cities and heavily populated areas have floating speed limits that they put up on LED road signs. Lowest I saw while I was over there was 160km/h

harsh? its two guys going at 300 kmph on a public road. the only thing that stopped an accident from happening was all the other drivers in the road looking out for them.

i used to drive like a mad man thinking i was the "good driver". i now realize it was all the other drivers that kept me from an accident.

do you want your mom or dad or kid to be on that road with those two?

there is common sense and a time and a place for everything.

yes 100% to driver skill and education. and we lack both, but speed does kill more then no speed. any education on any type of driving will tell you speed equals slower reactions, less braking, less room for error, and greater physical damage. its just physics and science.

no i have never opened my door on anyone and have never called the cops on anyone in my life.

Yes, that time is any time of the day and that place is the Autobahn.

You're a Canadian. You don't get these simple things like move out of the way of passing cars. You were taught to sit in the passing lane like a dummy and wait for the upcoming car to slow down to your speed then slowly, slowly move into the middle lane.

It's not your fault.

Have you ever driven on a German autobahn? No, thought not.

Anyone who openly admits to "driving like a mad man" on Canadian roads automatically loses any right to comment on anyone elses driving or riding skills. You mad man driving probably endangered more lives than someone going 300kph on an autobahn.

That's the problem. They (Canadian drivers/riders) wern't taught anything other than starting an engine and engaging drive. The most skill your average Canadian driver has is the ability to text, drive and still sip their Timmys, while sitting at 110kph in the outside lane of an empty 400 series highway. And, unfortunately, its as likely to be an OPP cruiser as it is a member of the general population.

LOL thread. Everybody's a speed hero. Skillz 'o plenty. Autobahn is great. Side Road 15 too.

See, that's the point, we should all be looking out for each other. The "me" mentality makes traffic so much worse.

It should be mandatory for driving school to use only manual vehicles, in my opinion that alone would significantly increase driver skill. Not to say I have no skills but the day I got my G1 years ago after only a written test I drove the 20 km home despite my mom's concern that I had never driven a car in my life. Had it been a manual I probably wouldn't have gotten it out the lot...

I got my bike a couple weeks after my M1, started riding right away and then did my ministry test 2 months later, here I am still alive 4 seasons later, although I would never suggest a new rider go that route I'm just a natural.

Side Road 15 FTW!!

as i said in the other post. both the driver and the rider should be shot and ****** on.

its funny people say "guns kill" they dont realize vehicles kill too

Shot ?? For what? They were following all the laws lol.

Ya vehicles kill, lets ban all the vehicles.

Ha, wow!

This response is also for fiery254. For his or her stupid comment.

Yes I am Canadian. And what are you two? Obviously non-Canadians? Why don't you two go back and drive wherever it is the drivers are so much better?

^ LOL

Were you texting from your car?

I'm a Canadian citizen as well. Sorry for having experienced things abroad.
