Wow! And she is still in office...
Where are all these ppl that voted for her?

Premier Kathleen Wynne’s approval rating has hit a new low, according to a poll by Forum Research.
The poll of 1,124 Ontario residents found that just 14 per cent of respondents approve of the job that Wynne is doing as premier while 77 per cent disapprove and 9 per cent have no opinion.
Wynne’s approval rating is down from 16 per cent in September and is now lower than any approval rating that Forum Research has recorded for a sitting premier.

I hope the same people don't fall for the old liberal trick of swapping out the leader and then claiming it's a new party.. They did it with Dalton >>Wayne.. It's just the old trick of new lipstick on the pig..

She just announced money for the school boards (for repairs in the BILLIONS).

Look back ppl she was was Trustee then TDSB Chair then Minister of Education put there by McGuinty to get the union votes.
And now she is making business decisions.

How the hell do we get business ppl in these position? I guess they rather spend their time being more effective making money and not worrying about the bs.

Sadly they all just become pigs with different shades of lipstick... What will be interesting is how any future leader of any colour will attempt to undo the damage the past few have done. Wynne's regime in particular. Will the next "leaders" retract the damage or just point in the review mirror and claim it want there doing and they just inherited the damage, yet stay drunk with the looting?

I'm surprised that woman hasn't instill riots

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if I came home, turned on the news, and the lead story was her being shot.
When I watch the Kennedy assassination & other high profile murders I often wonder what would trigger a complete stranger to commit such an act. But seeing what Wynne has done I think I would understand why.

PS. I am not advocating murders

What has she done exactly? Most people would not really know or it does not impact them directly (in the face).
We get the Hydro rates going up, we get the insurance companies 'sham' lower the rates but lower coverage etc... but that stuff is still not in the face of most.
Also remember as we have a lot more new comers that don't pay attention and don't care or just super busy trying to get by.
We also have ppl here super busy trying to get by in order to pay attention to the issues.

The Conservatives are running a 19 year old kid for Hudack's old riding.
Wth? The entire community had no one else with some life experience.
Mike Ford is 22 and got Rob Ford's old ward...how do you think this will all go?

I suspect she was not particularly popular at the last election. The problem was that the alternative presented by the PC party looked even worse to many Ontarians.

It is up to the opposition to field candidates and leaders that are more appealing and have better policies than hers. I don't know if Patrick Brown is that guy or not. So far he seems a bit of a dud...

Just think, by the time they get experience our kids will be in a good space...and we'll be dead. Win Win.....eventually.

No matter what I'm going to go vote conservative this time. I don't care if it's a snow storm. I will vote against liberal.

She has directly affected the masses one way or the other

you know the old saying, you deserve the poison you choose

What I am trying to say she it has not been like 1 solid thing e.g. power plant.
She has been a bunch of jabs here and there and not that punch to the nose for most ppl to feel and see directly.

Funny thing is I think she could win again and garner minority govt...if election held now.
As you said, opposition is weak.

funny thing, anyone iv'e ever talked to about politics. say they have not voted for the fiberals

I voted NDP in the last election but I imagine a lot of folks who might consider NDP would have considered the Liberals since they are left of the NDP. What a circus. The Conservatives are off too far to the right and have little to nothing in common with the old PC party. In such a multicultural and left leaning province this is just not going to fly; especially with someone like Hudak at the helm. Their best option recently was John Tory but he shot himself in the foot with his dumb decision to bring up the school funding issues during the election. He should have thrown that out as a trial balloon once he took office.

From what I have seen of Brown thus far he seems to be cut from the same cloth as Hudak and that is not going to fly with me (and I imagine a lot of voters who see themselves as social progressives and fiscal conservatives). Wake me up when the Conservatives come back to reality.

Wake me up when the voters come back to reality.

This policy of promising everything and giving nothing just doesn't cut it for me.
All Trudeau seems to have done so far is run around spending money and telling people that Canada is back.
Wow, we all feel good now, but how about actually doing something to help the country grow?
Instead my taxes and bills are up, and benefits down, while these people run around patting themselves on the back,
and giving each other bonuses and raises for the good job.

The Conservatives let a 19yr old run, against two seasoned candidates and the kid won the by-election. Hes a Brock Uni student, has worked at the legislature and speaks extremely well, much better than the lawyer and seasoned politician he ran against. I'd say guys like that are the future of the conservatives, he may never effect big change, but at least he hasn't spent his life sucking the public teat and may have a fresh look.

She not only has the lowest approval rating, but she just announced she plans to run again in the next election. I wonder if the party itself will allow that or turf her, apparently against her will, beforehand instead.

Patrick Brown has already proven himself to be a risky vote, flip flopping so fast on the school sex ed thing that it made my head spin - at least he's on the right side of the argument now, but given his track record so far I'm left wondering if that'll change again the second he thinks it could be beneficial. And who else will he pander to out of desperation?

If the NDP put together a reasonably sane platform and prove themselves trustworthy and steadfast in the election they really have a chance this time around I think. Between Brown and Wynne, she really does look like the sane choice so long as their economic plan is reasonably sane.

...but in the end a lot of people will vote for Wynne anyways because they're so oblivious to what's going on around them that they simply wouldn't even consider an alternative.
