I been married for two years and like you I don't think she has ever taken a poop, then I realized she is full of it lol


Funny thread, I gotta follow this one, but in all seriousness marriage is not a 50/50 relationship like all you young guys think. Some days when your partner only gives 10% you give the other 90% and vice versa.

Also if your woman is not really getting done up for you and doing things right for you, think about what you have done for her lately. Ask her out on a date and take her some where fancy.
 
Do you guys really expect your wives to get made up on a regular basis? Does she really look that bad without it? :S

Rmmedic, everyone says that...until they fall in love again. I fell hard once & then told myself that I'd never fall that hard again. But then I realized that you also miss out on a lot this way. Why not just be more selective - make sure they're actually worth trippin' balls for? The only downside is that I only manage to meet a chick who REALLY catches my interest (on average) every 2 years.

Actually Rmmedic is 100% correct about the Vally Girls around CFB Petawawa. They are parasitic lumps that find an Army guy then move in, spit a kid or two (if they didn't come with a few already) and occupy a spot on the couch with no interest in working.

Hit it and forget it is the lesson the older guys try to pass to the noobs but unfortunately, they fall prey to these things and end up divorced and loosing half their pension more times than not. Usually after they return from over seas and find out their GF/Wife was the town bike while they were gone...

In the nine years I was there the closest GF I ever had was Ottawa.

I have managed to stay un married and childless my entire life and as an end result my garage is full of MY toys, not kids toys. (OK big kid toys then... :) )

Doesn't mean you can't have a decent girlfriend. Just make sure she has her own place in a city outside where you live and play the "i don't know where this career will lead me so marriage is something I won't get into until I'm retired' card.

Oh yea, to keep with the theme of this thread........ the only thing I want to see get bigger on my GF is her income :)

On another note but somewhat related how do you guys get rid of chicks in the morning?
I've tried several methods but usually com out looking like a jerk.
I'm thinking "ok that was fun time for you to go" is not the thing to say?

I'd resigned to a life of bachelorhood, then I met a girl who I proposed to 4 months later and married another 10 months later. The saying "you'll know when you meet the right one" is very true - like getting blind-sided by a bus. She's been my best friend and partner for almost 20 years. If she packs on a few pounds, I don't care, as long as she remains the person I met, the person she is - that's what really makes her attractive. IMO, if all a girl has going for herself is skin deep, you shouldn't bother getting married - it won't last. It has to go much deeper.

Get a friend to call you and pretend you are being called into work.

***** about how stupid it is that every time something happens it's always you you you that has to sort it out etc...

....If you just can't bring yourself to call her by another girls name and throw bus fare at her.
