Why Millions Buy Harley-Davidson Motorcycles

And by unreliable crap you mean Chevy? Otherwise your comment doesn’t make any sense.
I stopped buying luxury cars a few years ago and tried el-cheepo chev Cruze. 2015 was bulletproof, bought a 2017 - bulletproof so far.

warranty is up in feb, will get another chev

also have 2 Jeep’s, 2007 commander - bulletproof, and a 2017 Patriot - bulletproof.

maintain a modern American car properly and expect 400k life.

run a toyota without oil and expect 400k
I've owned my last Toyota. Sure it will run to 400 K, but along the way my last one asked for both cats, a flex kit and resonator, full exhaust system, front both wheel bearings, and struts, coilpacks, 4 abs sensors, a fuel pump and a dumpster full of sensors. About $10K over and above regular maintenance.

At 6 years old I had to grind off all 4 brake backing plates due to rust, replace a door pillar trim that was completely rusted out, and replace 2 very hazy front light lenses.

I was kind glad the day an F150 backed into it rendering the car dead. Or almost, a dealer in Brampton bought the thing and gave it a new life.

Must have got a bad one. My Echo went 400k with the orig muffler, tranny fluid, clutch (taught both kids to drive stick with it too) and rad coolant. Wheel bearings every 100k.

yeah, but they are all ugly both inside and outside, made using pre-WW2 technology and drive like ****.

Must be a real joy to be around
Don't let the negativity get under you skin. There seems to be a core group of users here that simply crap all over anything and everything that isn't what they like.

Ugly to you possibly. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I’ve had two Chevy cars now (Volt 1 and Volt 2) and have been happy with both so far.

Back to Harley….was driving yesterday and saw a super sexy blue one and I can’t find the model on their site. Sleek as eff….sexy sound. If the budget allows I’d be tempted…if I ever find what it is.

Very true, I was at a bike show/meet in Erin on Sunday and saw every make a model of bike around, not everything was to my liking, but still very cool to look and learn some new things. Also great people happy to talk about their rides.

HD VRSC V-Rod
That one is far from stock, They are great bikes and the customizations I see on them are un-real.

Honestly, some of it's not even actually premium. A lot of these brands started being premium (but still not worth the money compared to non froo-froo brand alternatives) and then when they hit the big time, became quasi-mass produced crap as demand increased and production ramped up.

Google "Louis Vuitton Quality" and in short order you'll be reading about how they have a lot of issues with that. To pick but one of the silly overpriced fashion brand.

It's like buying a Range Rover instead of a Chevy - you're buying the "Look at me, look at me!" factor whilst actually having purchased a drastically overpriced notoriously unreliable piece of junk. But hey, "look at me!"
So pretty much the same as buying a beemer.

Do you even drive a car? Toytas are garbage, Domestics are made with preWW2 tech. What nonsense.
