I've found that if you sleep together, get it out of the way and then admit you're better off friends it makes for a more honest friendship.
If only all girls thought this way. It would be a much better world.

And how many guys have been friends with girls, only to have said girl basically abandon them once they find a BF?
I recently went through this. Had a chick friend I went to school with (would not have dated her but would have been up for a triple-x throw down fo sho) who never had any serious BFs the whole time I knew her (7 years or so). I would have considered here a very close friend. Well, she got a BF back in January and it got pretty serious pretty quickly. She went from being 27 years old to being a little old lady over night. She's a complete hermit now and I haven't even talked to her in a few months.
Meh.
All good things come to an end.
LOL big +1 to this. I've noticed this trend as well. Most of my platonic female friends (and some of my more sensitive male friends) have more or less abandoned me once they settled into a relationship. I don't get that. I don't think I'll ever understand it haha.
My older bro only call me if he needs a favour, quite different when he was single.
Ya it's the guys (especially the blood relatives) that confuse me. I mean, bitches be crazy and all that, but when a guy pulls that off it bothers the hell out of me.
Wow, my sister inlaw is the same...tries to correct me when I call my brother what I've always called him. Nuts. Best part is she was my sisters best friend since childhood and ditched my sister once she landed my brother. They never get the idea "Bros before Hos"...and literally bros.Biotch would not even be pleased when I call my bro by his baby nick name And its not even derogatory

.......sounds like someone is jealous.....You are like Roasted little side kick, or pimp, not sure, take your nose out of his butt dude.
your brother a fish?
For a while I made a bit of an effort to carry the friendship but it became obvious that I was the only one putting in any effort. I gave up. I seems like some highschool BS but I really feel that if they can't be bothered to make any effort to remain friends then it's not worth my effort either.
