Why Android is better than iPhone.

Following AT&T’s announcement this morning,
Apple
confirmed 2 million pre-orders in 24 hours. That statistic more than doubles the pre-order record of approximately 1 million units held by the iPhone 4S (600,000 for iPhone 4).

But........it doesn't have NFC, tilt to zoom, 4.8 screen, and most of all removable battery!
It will be an EFIC FAIL! crApple is doomed!

Owned.

 its funny when people think Samsung is a competitor to Apple

iPhone adoption of LTE, is making LTE more available now. Is it even affordable though, for EVERYONE????
The right time came, i guess.
LTE is the same price as regular data, at least for Telus and Bell (i know Rogers was charging extra in the beginning but i think its changed)

Good on Apple for those sales, i know some friends who've invested in them at 540-550, they are HAPPY right now.

In regards to NFC apps, canadian gov't got on the boat already with their "challenge" to encourage devs to push some NFC apps
A GTAM member won it i think (http://mintchipchallenge.com/) :)

Pretty much have to buy a new android phone to get the latest android operating system with the odd exception to the rule, like the S3, it's an exception, not the rule. Yeah you could flash that your self but from what I understand from a friend, running custom roms can void your warranty.

And jailbreaking doesn't, lol

Apple is a smart company.....when they talk, i tend to listen.

I think you guys got scared when Apple chose to not put this NFC thing in their device, because it will not take off without the Leader in the game.

How come no one is using wifi-direct yet.....waiting on Apple???

Apple is using Bluetooth 4.0.....because it uses a fraction of battery power.

NFC people should grab a read below;
http://www.cultofmac.com/167758/why-apples-iwallet-wont-have-anything-to-do-with-nfc/

Funny thing is,S3 had NFC and Bluetooth 4.0. I can say without a doubt, I would never use Bluetooth for a payment, and i would think most ppl would be the same. The range is to large, security concerns would be bad. The only ppl that will use it would Berne sheeple because they wouldn't have the choice lmao, great company Apple is, always telling ppl what they want and what they are allowed to use. NFC will be the payment of choice everywhere except the sheeple store. When they talk you listen, because you can't make you're own decisions, says a lot about you. I make my decisions on my own,I don't accept anyone telling me what's good good me, what J want and what I'm allowed to have on device i purchased. Unlike most of the sheeple, i have tried most of the popular OS's out there, winmo, symbian, ios, Android. By far Android is the best around. I don't Getty brain washed like you his,I try things and decide what i like best, what best suits my needs, but i have to say, even if Apple was the device that would best suit my needs I still would buy one, because of under control they have over it. Imagine bring told what your allowed to put in the car you bought, or what you're allowed to put in the new house you bought. What a joke that is

[h=2]HP CEO: ‘Apple taught us that design really matters’[/h]
As part of her plan, Ms. Whitman is counting on better-looking PCs, hoping her company might one day rival
Apple Inc. as the industry’s standard bearer for sleek design…”I don’t think we kept up with the innovation,” said the 56-year-old CEO. “The whole market has moved to something that is more beautiful… Apple taught us that design really matters,” she said. “I think we’ve made a lot of progress.”

I just converted from the Android side to the dark side of Apple. :confused2:

which one are you?

I've been randomly skimming through this thread and I find it most amusing.

It reminds me of the discussions I used to have with my friends, when comparing our latest gadgets.

In fifth grade.

Pointless.
