Why Android is better than iPhone.

I've been randomly skimming through this thread and I find it most amusing.

It reminds me of the discussions I used to have with my friends, when comparing our latest gadgets.

In fifth grade.

Pointless.

Buy the gadget you want and move on people. I am hockey fan and i love the Montreal Canadiens i will never convince a die-hard Leaf fan to switch sides and they would not be able to get me to switch sides, so why even bother.

Some people like Apples better some like Oranges better, both are good for you in their own way.

By the way these multi-billion dollar companies you are "advertising" for aren't paying you a dime, remember that.

Apple is a smart company.....when they talk, i tend to listen.

No, not smart... "Brilliant" company.

Their main goal is to suck every dollar out of your wallet possible, and they do a very very good job at this with their proprietary plugs and connectors, $3000 Macbooks, and year out of dated overly massively hyped iPhones5

As you know, Samsung Galaxy S4 is coming, and will give the i5 a further spanking in the techno department, and a bigger more usable 5" screen.

Sad part is, as soon as all the delusional Apple fans break out of the reality distorted field vision, the whole process begins all over again when the iphone 6 details start trickling out and Apple makes incremental improvements in iPhone 6, and yet again tries close the gap on Samsung S4.

Lets make another fearless prediction..... next iphone, bigger screen, and NFC.

Bloody Brilliant, and for that, I cannot fault Apple.

which one are you?

Back to the NFC thing, came across this tidbit today......

To date, there is over 70 devices out there approved by MasterCard as Mobile PayPass compatible devices and the list continues to grow. Samsung, Blackberry, Sony, HTC and others have all released NFC and Mastercard compatible devices with mobile payment transaction growth expected to reach $75Billion by 2013.

the Apple map iMuppets failed grade school spelling.

can't even spell Great Salterns Golf "Corse" correctly.

android/google pwnage.

google maps isn't a device bro

It does rock, however. Apple shouldn't have switched, but I understand the reasoning.

I think you guys got scared when Apple chose to not put this NFC thing in their device, because it will not take off without the Leader in the game.

How come no one is using wifi-direct yet.....waiting on Apple???

Apple is using Bluetooth 4.0.....because it uses a fraction of battery power.

NFC people should grab a read below;
http://www.cultofmac.com/167758/why-apples-iwallet-wont-have-anything-to-do-with-nfc/

That article is interesting. It supports the idea that Apple is going rogue on e-wallets. Unless they figure out a way to integrate a BT 4.0 system into the existing infrastrature, we're looking at another format war. And considering the maturity of NFC at this point, plus zero power consumption and no need for pairing, it's hard to see how Apple could win this one.

I'll be needing a phone soon and with excellent offering from iOS, WP8, Android and potentialy BB soon, it's easy for me to dismiss the iPhone simply because it lacks NFC, since it's the standard right now and for the foreseeable future.
