I use it with my kids, transferring things back and forth, the real problem is, if NFC goes as expected and its not available on the iphone, then apple falls behind. I would rather have the ability of something, then not have it available to me.

Transfer what? And I think that's a big if considering its something that's been around for a long time and still I don't hear about it being used.
I would rather have a phone that works with my computer, tablet, and tv seamlessly.
How does NFC stop the phone from working seamlessly. It took Bluetooth a long time to take off, now look at it. Having the option doesn't hurt the phone.

NFC is just a tech spec on a piece of paper. Apple will include it in their hardware when there's an actual widespread use for it. Until then, it's just wasted R&D.
Android fanboys will never understand. Samsung cuts a thousand corners with their crappy phones to get all the "features" built in. Useless 'specs' war, just like in the older days of computers.
I mean whether or not the iPhone has NFC I would still buy it because it works for EVERYTHING I have. If I didn't have ANY apple products there is a good chance I would have that galaxy note thingy. it's funny because I just asked my wife if she had ever heard of NFC because she has a work blackberry, she had no idea what the hell I was talking about.
I'm sorry, but I just don't see what the big deal is about NFC, I really think its a moot point in the real world. Maybe it means something on spec sheets, but that's just no the real world.
77 percent of people in a survey in France (where they are using NFC to buy things) said they would change their phone for a phone with NFC, its also being used in the UK. And when it takes off here, and the sheeple don't have it, they still be all whiney.

Crap i guess you're right, since your wife never heard of it. It will never be useful. Don't i feel silly now. The NFC argument is over,i lose . Lmfao

What can I use NFC for? Right now in the real world?

Ohhhhkay. I never said it wouldn't be useful, I was just trying to point out that people that I know that have that ability have never heard of it.
I didn't know everything if measured by the people you know. Lol people i know people that have heard of it, not all but lots of them. People never heard of Bluetooth before. All I'm saying is, it doesn't hurt the phone being there, and when it takes off some and its users well be late to the party, as usual. The reason some didn't incorporate the chip in the 5, is because the phone would of been thicker, and then they couldn't claim to have the thinnest phone, hahaha, and it ends up they didn't anyways. I would of had Little more respect for apple if they just cane out and admitted they lied, or they were just ignorant to anything other then the iphone. It shows what kind of arrogant ***** they really are.
