Why Android is better than iPhone.

Apple’s Genius training manual shows how company herds and grooms its ‘iSheep’

"rife with psychobabble designed to get potential customers comfortable with forking over lots of cash for Apple’s finely crafted products."

"One of the most interesting aspects of the manual is that at points it reads like a marriage counseling pamphlet "

Nothing new here. Anyone that's in sales knows the way to a sale is to build a "friendship" with the customer. This is no different than your "buddy" at the bike shop, the guy that sold you your car, your real estate agent, etc. Apple simply put the methods in writing as a training tool for their employees.

You're supposed to treat your customers like ****.. Apparently thats the true mark of a successful company with good products

All the products in those pictures were wildly successful

All your base are belong to Apple.

I'm too lazy to look into all of those claims, but some of them are obviously wrong. The F700 was introduced a month after the iPhone, as a non working prototype, and actually released to the public four or five months after the iPhone hit the streets. It was an utter POS, a friend got one instead of an iPhone (even in 2007 people were anti iPhone), then gave up and got an iPhone.

Siri existed as an iPhone App before Apple bought the company in April 2010, don't know when the app was initially released.

That's not to say that Apple hasn't stolen other peoples' ideas along the way, everyone does. They however have not blatantly copied a complete design from a competitor, hardware and software together.

At the end of the day, the Samsung/Apple trial is bound to go through the appellate system, perhaps ending up at the Supreme Court. I can't wait to hear what happens then. Unfortunately, if it does go that far, it's likely to take years.

IMHO, Samsung will be the one to watch. They have some mind blowing tech on the way. Not just with phones, but with tv's, displays, etc. It will make the "retina" display look like old tech.

The court thing is far from over, the Galaxy S3 which is selling like hotcakes, and Samsung will continue to innovate and crank out new products.
.

No wonder Apple is running scared....... their once a year minor updates just won't cut it anymore.

new and unleashed....... see through screen, tablets, galaxy camera, phablets, windows based handsets, android based, Ultrabooks.... etc etc.

"Like it or not, Samsung’s well of life-affirming, mind-expanding, creativity-enhancing magical devices will not run dry anytime soon."

Holeee crap!

More products have rarely meant better products. Apple likes to focus on a few key products and put everything they have into them. Samsung likes to throw a whole bunch of darts and hope that someone buys one of them. I know which business model I like more.

Oh and dude, quoting yourself, seriously?

I swear I've seen this somewhere before...

I'll quote myself too, why the hell not.

With so many Android products, how the hell is Samsung going to keep up with Android updates for all of them. They already take forever to release updates for existing phones, if they do release an update that is. My friend with a Note, just got his ICS update near the end of July. Just in time to be out of date with Jellybean out
