Anyone in the Hamilton area up for a ride let me know... As long as the road is dry and we stay in the positive I'm in! I'm on the mountain and can ride most days but keep it to daylight hours.

That's more like it! A picture (or pictures) is worth a thousand words. Great shots by the way. I have only been riding a year and a half but love it. Yes I did go riding Thursday and Friday and plan to Monday as well. Mainly because when I put my bike on the stands and ready for Winter I never got around to the fuel stabilizer and took advantage of the opportunity. Unplugged the battery tender and was on my way. I appreciate the real advice because I am very new to the sport but man oh man are there a lot of riders with issues. I will be very careful but I have to say I was ear to ear smiles last week riding! Ride safe everyone, no matter what bike or what weather!

Another perfect 3 hour ride last night in the Hamilton/Burlington area... Only one other brave soul at the King Street Timmie's last night (Corsara). Great to see you again and thanks for leading!

Last night's ride was a blast indeed! Especially when complemented with such a nice company (jaygreene24 and his passenger). Hope it won't be too long before our next ride together!
Grrrrrrr what is up with all the haters??? This weather is gorgeous and I rode in colder weather before putting my bike away. I'd be riding now too if I didn't have so much crap to do.

I don't have a hose during winter so what I do is a large spray bottle and the chain cleaner brush and a cloth.
you really do have to keep an eye on the chain, did a test and didn't clean it for 4 days after some heavy salt riding and got rust spots. nothing I couldn't clean off, but you gotta do it. the idea that salt will destory the bike is bogus, but so is the idea that the bike is impervious to it. Agave's bike though is gorgeous and the picture makes a stronger point then any rant.
