just got in from my drive home from school, its 10 degrees and sunny here with barely any visible salt and clear, dry roads...

Not missing out, gonna go out for an hour or so.

I went for a short ride today......sorta. I sat on the bike in the basement making vroom vroom sounds.

I thought the OP was crazy when I read the post last night after I drove home in the snow and blowing snow.

Oddly enough the draw of my new bike was strong today and I rode for about an hour and then took the bike to the gym. A quick wash to remove any dirt and the bike is back on the stands. The roads were not too bad!

Had my fix.

I went out for almost an hour and a half today. Was very nice out.

That is the current situation with me =) I will ride the **** out of tomorrow as my insurance will be expiring on Wed =(
Gota wait till March 15 to re-insure after that, for a $2000 discount.

I don't know if it was the smell of my leathers, finally out of the depths of the closet, or listening to the whistle of my visor on the highway, or perhaps the resistance against the melancholic state of the mind for knowing that tomorrow will be the end of it all for 42days straight........ it all made my ride a blast today =)

I'm off for now, but I will join you on the road once again on the March 14th.

Meanwhile, if you see envious eyes staring at as you ride by, that will be me.

I need a new tire or else i would have been out this week for sure it's gorgeous weather, +8 this morning. The roads around here are bone dry with hardly any salt on them. The usual nay-sayers on here always chime with the negative crap because they are probably just jealous because they don't have a garage and have to store their bikes in winter and have no choice. Or they really are just huge alternate word for kitties.

I will, however, try and get some work done on the bike. The lack of heated storage makes winter work sparse.
