Whose riding tomorrow?

I am...its gonna be dry until the evening and the salt ain't too bad, at least not in the city. Weather is looking to be +6-7 and the same on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday aren't looking too bad either, especially if you have proper gear.
Might just finish the week riding, the last time I got out was January 7th and I've been missing it...They're saying this is one of the mildest winters but I rode a lot more in 09-10 almost 4k. Guess it was my first season so I was a bit more enthusiastic and ballsy.

I'd have to spend 2 hours scrubbing all the salt and road crap off the bike.... no thanks

It's puking snow at the moment, so non merci.

However, might take advantage of the good weather and do some maintenance.

My guess is that anyone who has a bike that's worth more than 500 bucks will probably stay off the road.

I think that's great, impressive, not so sure. Why increase unnecessary injury to yourself ? I mean can you really ride as you would in May or June?

I have a very good friend who feels he has to ride his bikes all year long so that we all know that he can, we love him and care for him deeply and if anything should happen we would be there to help in a Toronto minute.

I know he makes it a point to tell us when he does go out for a ride, whether this is to advise us that if something should go wrong we will be readily available to help or it's a guy thing, don't know.

Enjoy your ride

....in a Toronto minute.

A Toronto minute?

Is that like a New York Minute but, when actually measured, comes out at 65 seconds? Or is it like a Vancouver minute where you start counting but lose track and have to start over again?

I went skiing today. Might go again tomorrow. Sorry, but it's the wrong season for riding a motorcycle here.

Yea, good point, a Toronto minute according to Websters dictionary defines it as 1.5 hrs on the QEW and 2 hrs on the 401

after just getting home from driving I think I might just have to wait. 680 News keeps on saying light snow, but its pretty damn thick in the air and on the roads. At this rate it'll be pretty messy in the morning and then a slushy afternoon as it goes up to 7 degrees.

Sucks.

Also I didn't plan on going on a recreational fun ride, but I could at least ride the 15 minutes to school and not have to pay for parking...

That is the current situation with me =) I will ride the **** out of tomorrow as my insurance will be expiring on Wed =(
Gota wait till March 15 to re-insure after that, for a $2000 discount.

I just got back from a ride. It's 9:30pm.
I took a few minuted take off my front wheel to install my snowboard.
Man oh man was that a fun ride.
I will ride to work in the morning with this set up.

I think I might just buy a super moto style bike, put some snows on'er and do wheelies down the 401. This way I can join in with the cool winter rider crowd and the squids.

.....nothin' like giving your ride a nice saltwater shower. Bad idea all around.

Beautiful day out. Too bad I'm stuck here at work... but rode in anyway. Caution to anyone in the area though, there is a *ton* of salt on the road, makes for a bit of a tricky ride in spots.
