who's still riding? (in toronto)

Yeah... Monday morning, my front slipped on a painted line during a lane change. I decided at that point that it was time to wash the bike, do the 1000km service myself, and put it away for the season.

Doesn't that make your heart skip a beat :)

Didn't you crash from this exact reason before tho ?

Yup.... :( but this time it was during a lane change vs a right turn.

Great ride yesterday, no ride today.

Today actually seemed ok - I got that "I could have ridden today if I didn't put my bike away" feeling xD

guys, dont be stupid, is so dangerous out there, even if you dont care about the salt and bike, your gonna get hurt!!

Man, all the streets near me are covered in thick, lumpy, smooth ice. How the hell anyone's riding on that, I don't know.

Still a nice ride

My local neighbourhood roads are ice, there are ice patches on the major roads caused by drifting snow being packed down by cars. Here is how my bike looked Weds Morning:

It still looks the same. Hopefully I can get out this weekend. The risk of streamers fro mlake effect snow is high enough that I can't take it to work.

Vtom what planet are you on? No sign of snow here... Enjoying my ride

Planet Port Perry. It part of Ontario, Canada.

You folks living in Toronto have no idea how mild and snow free your winter is. In normal weather there is often a 5 to 10 degree C difference in temperature between home and the top of the city.

I've noticed that effect for many years.

The surrounding areas get their revenge on Toronto in the summer time. Ugh.
