lol, depends on what you do with it!

@Wingboy this looks ideal for weekends of trialing. Warm up in the morning is riding from the bed over the trailer. By the evening, you should be on form so you can deal with the ugly hop from the ground to first pitch on the trailer.

What slush? Roads are all clear. I even took my e-scooter out this week lol
Yea, nah. I'm not "prepared" enough for this season. Also, driveway is almost always blocked with cars when I leave to work in the mornings.

Next season I'll be better prepared. I can see that it's not at all a challenge to ride if you have the right winter gear!!

Also, the wind took away my glove.. so.. that's that.

-19 on Friday night. Brr.

It really is.

In my teen years I just rode all winter in jeans, a leather jacket, a full face, some gloves, and a wool scarf.

Last year, at 34, I bought a heated vest last winter, and this winter a company sent me a free pair of heated gloves. Broke AF Adri never would have imagined these frivolous luxuries... Is this what going to a spa feels like?

Those were fun Open ice rader runs on Scugog and Simcoe, 1/8th drags and open water drags on Soldier's and Cooks Bay.

Don't think much of that happens in Ontario any more.

I don't see anything near as much down in this area at least. But the weathers changing. Heck, Scugog and Rice lake etc didn't even fully freeze over until just earlier this week and still are barely safe to walk on in many areas, much less ride on.

The lack of snow in the last 10-15 years was one of the reasons I'd bought jet skis at one point. It was getting hard to find snow. It was never hard to find a body of water.

Unless you have friends that jetski also it gets boring pretty quick being out there alone. I didn't ride Rice Lake at all last winter because I didn't trust it (I went through the ice further north the previous year so I was a little nervous granted).
Did a few hours in the trails yesterday and conditions were perfect. Rode both sleds (hard).

We had 2 so my wife was always along. The kids sometimes as well. Although much like motorcycling, sometimes riding solo is nice as well.

What trails are open in your area?

What trails are open? I was up in Cochrane the weekend before last, trails were still closed, groomers were still pounding the frost bed. I ran lakes and 3 season roads.

Northumberland Forest and area going northeast of Quinte West. I stuck to Northumberland.

whoever was riding that gold wing today; you're a legit rider and have my respect lol.

It was a Goldwing - rider was probably one step away from having the roof up lol.

Fun fact: Goldwings have foot warmers. Add heated grips, heated seat, some heated gear, and a 4 foot tall windshield along with those foot warmers, well, temps don't matter anymore lol.

My Tenere 1200 did the same things. Goldwings get a bad rap as an old man's bike.

Mine must have been too old, I had no heat beyond what came from the motor and cooked you all summer long. As for the screen I cut it low enough to look over and then still ended up cutting a postcard sized hole in to get some air flow.
