Who's still riding? (Fall 2017 / Winter 2018 edition)

wait, suns out again.

ahhahaha

Yep, got nice again. Rolled the bike out to the driveway for the first time since October, puttered in the garage a little more hoping the roads would dry some more...and then it clouded over and started raining.

Doesn't apply to all... :)

Rode one bike last Saturday and the other Sunday. This weekend is looking good again!

I'm eyeballing Friday. Too bad there's so much fresh salt down after the freeze last night.

Saw a cruiser at Pottery and Broadview tonight -6 out. Awesome!
I wanted to get a better look but the a-hole in front of me was Sunday driving...

Nice ride in this morning!

Other than needing to be a little more careful on my street and driveway the rest of the roads heading in were just fine. Weather apps and my house thermometer said -14 when I left as did my GPS. My bike temperature display reads "low" when it displays below -10 (and it's 2 degrees optimistic so that actually happens below -12) so it was at least -13 while ridign to about Maple where the display started showing -10 (for a real balmy -12.)

No road splash, very little if any loose stuff on the roads and most importantly no bugs!

Was a nice ride in this morning. The roads were wet so I suspect you wouldn't ride on it but the sun is out and I imagine will dry the roads up nicely. It should be good for you to get out for a bit.

Keep thinking about it, but it’s still nipply out and I don’t have heated gear.

But yeah, thinking hard.

Saw two bikes parked next to my work when i went for lunch.

The itch. It's real.

I saw someone riding their orange GSXR600 downtown last night. It was lightly snowing as he rode by me on Parliament..

I'm going to bite and take a ride on Sunday if the flurries hold off.

Rode last week, spent more time cleaning it afterwards than actually riding it
Not worth it IMO , was so annoyed babying that thing it’s like trying to kill squirrels with a nuke, kind of underwhelming and frustrating

That screams “I just bought my bike and are desperate to ride it” to me. Most sport bike riders are firmly in the fair-weather crowd. ;)
