Who's still riding? (Fall 2016 / Winter 2017 edition)

Was fun riding today actually! A bit cold but the layering helped :)
I had to get an oil filter wrench so went to Town Moto in downtown but since they didn't have the right size, I rode to Snow city in Scarborough and back home in downtown. The traffic was smooth on the DVP and Gardiner (except that DVP had a 3kms slow stretch.....as usual)

I think I will get it out tomorrow as well and find a brunch venue to head to....

Today I retraced a favourite motorcycle route in my truck with, in no particular order of importance, the cabin temp. controller set to June 17, AM 820 comedy, medium black coffee double cupped and a cat birds view of all surroundings. Motoring sans dickie goes without saying. A guy could get used to this.

Anyone up for a ride tomorrow (27th)? New to the city and wouldn't mind a decent guide.... also need about 150km to get 10,000 km my first season.

Congrats, that's an impressive number for ones first season. My wife rode a bit over 5000K this summer (in her first year as well) and I thought that was good. ;)

Your offer and request for riding companionship, while laudable, falls woefully short on detail. What if I showed up wearing @$$less chaps and a dickie? Or worse, on a cruiser? Nobody needs another awkward moment this close to Christmas.

next 2 to 3 days temps will be warm but rain, guess I'll be prepping up the bike for storage and call it a season, damn you winter.

7 days forecast called for dropping temps and snow is on the way, 1 - 3 cm.

It was just a few weeks ago we were having the same discussion, and hey...here we are looking at warm temps again despite the rain.

The closest I'm getting to "winterization" on either of our bikes is premium no ethanol gas, stabilizer, and plugged into the battery tender. Aside from that....they're ready to go on 15 minutes notice.

Nice to see other bikes on the road this past week  Not something I'm used to seeing daily this time of year.

I will ride today.

I should have, but had too much other crap to accomplish. And didn't accomplish much of it anyways.

Just got out for 2 hours, spent my time just riding through random streets in Newmarket/Aurora. Stopped at the old Drive-In in Sharon and rode around through the lot just for nostalgia's sake... Lots of mud and gravel there haha, it was interesting with the cold and not riding for a week.
