Wow. Nice to see cottages for something that might actually be "affordable" if you had a paid off house. Some very questionable things in that one (is that a furnace beside the stove???, "bedroom" that is clearly a converted porch outside of the original building envelope, etc) but maybe not deal breakers

Unorganized municipality can be a blessing or a curse (especially when buying used). You don't need to get approval from the man but nobody else does either.

We didn't tour that one. But we did look another that was $450,000. Everything but boats included. And 4 season. Listed privately. Taxes $900/yr. Very high tech services.

Exploring Alberta and BC with B for a couple of weeks. Flew to Calgary ($70 one way) went to the Studio Bell building. F'ing awesome. In Banff right now. Very cold and lots of snow.
