Spent last night at my cousin's daughter's place at Shuswap Lake. The fire got to within a km of thier resort. It's frightening seeing the devastation.

Only bad experience of the trip. Check into BW in Revelstoke. Open the 4th floor elevator to a bunch of kids playing ball hockey. They got kicked out of the lobby. NO ****!

Sad to see an XJS burnt from the outside-in instead of the other way around.

An observation from out west.
Drivers are better.
Roads are better.
Vehicles are much better.

Cattleabaron Steakhouse for the best dinner of the trip. B had a rare steak that was to die for.I started with oysters.

@Wingboy is that rig going to see salt and slush? Would be cool (no pun intended) if you could ride year round. I've been pouring over old CVMG magazines and I'm surprised how often they mention a guy showing up to winter meetings in a Ural.
