when does every one stop riding??

Was pretty nice riding today and yesterday afternoon/evening. I haven't seen anyone else out in the last week though. Tomorrow should be good, Saturday not bad either. Anyone out there riding with the heated VR-Pro gloves? I can't seem to find much feedback/reviews on them but they're looking pretty good right about now until spring.

Where abouts do you ride. I've been riding non stop... No car means the horse gets snow tires. 10941842_10153693722360942_4326321879139865639_n.jpg

What do you ride?

I'd gladly go out but I'm afraid of salt. Plus roads are still wet in places, so I'm more likely to spray some on the chain. Can't detach the chain to clean it like on a bicycle!

Roads are dry downtown, and the snow doesn't last at all if it it even comes. I have to watch out for black ice though when it gets wet.I'm only riding a silly, old, little C70 Passport until my insurance levels itself out or the weathers really nice and I feel like joyriding a real bike. That'll happen very seldomnly though if at all.

That's f*ck!ing awesome. I need to get me some snow tires for the snow i don't have. I ride in the downtown core, east of Yonge street generally. Yourself?

Nice... Im always around the Brampton area but make it into the city once in awhile. Same thing all the main roads are generally snow free. Some side streets have some snow but the tires handle it well lol.

Today is not a bad day! Pretty warm I must say, careful out there guys!

some street tires are ok on fresh snow but once there has been some compression like car tire tracks it gets a just a tad sketchy

Ya I rode through the last 4 winters using q2/q3s. They usually leave me fish tailing down my street until I make it to the main road. Decided to try something different this year with the enduro tires and so far they're holding up well.

Yesterday was great, I probably only did 40 or 50km but it was the best ride I've been out for in a while, took lakeshore across the city and up black creek and around through north york and the city. Glad you got out too. Happy Birthday Ronin. Can't believe they had +9 In Calgary. Thats crazy.

That's not all that unusual for Calgary, because they get occasional midwinter chinooks out over the mountains.

You taught me something today. I never knew that as I thought Calgary was cold and nasty all winter.

Very much not the case. I've seen -27 to +18 to -21 in the same day. You'll get a good chinook that lasts a couple days and will raise you to the temps they're getting now. Calgary is calling for +14 tomorrow and +13 Monday.

Now Winnipeg, on the other hand...

When I rode to Winnipeg to do some work, my coworkers there didn't cared about the motorcycle, thought it was a quaint hobby; they were all looking forward to snow so they could start their snowmobile season.
