when does every one stop riding??

I assume ,everyone stops riding from today onwards due to obvious reasons!

It's supposed to warm up again next week, once this snow melts I'll be out again.

Saw one rider this morning. Snowing, foggy, icy roads, rush hour on hwy400SB. Red ninja 400 or 650. Didn't look like he was wearing warm gear. Cutting in front of cars leaving no room for himself or cagers to brake. Recipe for disaster... hope he made it to his destination alright.
 
November 11th was my last ride for this season. Beautiful day for a ride, then oil change and winterization.

Last year once the snow came up here it did not go away. This year looks to be more of the same. At some point you just have to accept that the riding season is done.
 
Yep. As long as the salt leftovers aren't too bad, I'll be happy to get out a couple more times when/if the weather allows.

By the same token, if the weather sucks it sucks and if I go four weeks with no chance of a ride and no hope of one, I'll be happy to put her away for the winter. Like MacDoc says, this is "bonus" time.

What is this "put her away" people keep talking about?
 
That was chilly tonight and treacherous walking....-7 feels like -16 according to the reports.

But highways and roads were fine.

Same. A couple days in the cage has me yearning for the bike again.
 
Today would be a good day to stop riding. Brrr.
 
Cycled across downtown today and whoof... that was some January cold.
 
Nov 11th was my last good ride. Spent all day on the bike. Looks like Nov 15th was the last of the season for me. I was hoping to head out one more time next week but from the looks of it, the roads are likely going to be a mess and the mix of rain and cold through the next few weeks sounds really unpleasant. It`s been a great riding season. Rode till mid-December last year but this time around the weather is far too unpredictable.

Me too. Even met some friends along the way who were of same mind. It was pleasant. That will be a day to remember.

Maybe he studded his mini tires. Certainly would not have taken umpteen hours to get home if he/she could bare the cold and filter through the parking lot highways yesterday!
