What did you do to your track/race bike today

Bracket looks good. My Fireblade just has a zipetie holding it there, and only on the right hand side,LOL.

Off to drop off/sell a heap of 6RR parts today and pick up 10R parts.

New Armour Bodies bodywork.
Braketech ductile iron rotors
Ferodo XRAC pads for the ZX14 Nissin calipers
DID ERV3 chain
Oi and filters.

Shock and forks have been pulled off and I'll drop them off with Brad from Compulsion Racing today for freshy fresh.

I'm good at using the rear stand, and that is what I do all day long at the track, don't need help or anything. But just moving the bike around in the garage, preparing to load, unload, etc...I can only imagine situations, in which I'm swearing like a mofo that I forgot the rear stand a few steps away out of arm's reach..

It'll happen once, then you won't make that mistake again. I lean my bike against things frequently (walls usually). Forks turned to the left, lean the bike to the right side against a wall so just the handlebar is touching the wall. So simple it seems silly but it works.

Frame sliders make great leaning points as well. It's all about confidence I think. Once you've done it a couple of times it's no biggie. I've even leant mine aagainst Armco on the bodywork alone.

Found out my crank that was sent out in February is still 8-10 weeks away so now I'm scrambling to get a new crank and get it reworked, and here I was thinking I've got everything on track and will be ready good and early. Why does everything cost more when you need it yesterday? Don't worry caboose, I'll make the national some how, some way lol.

Got a tank, 2 sets of sprockets and a rad
Got to send the tank to be painted
Got to install the sprockets, want to run 14 - 45 at Grand bend, I am currently 14 - 43

200l of U4 race fuel and two sets if new slicks from Pro6 today.

Sent from my SGH-I747M using Tapatalk 2

Around $800.

Bill's out in the truck, will correct with actual price when I'm not so tired and cold. lol

New"ish" head. Valves only have 600km on them and it hasen't been shaved, mounted/run, since it was ported. Same head made 190 with pump with more aggressive cams then mine. If it's no good it will be stripped and the parts will go into my old head but hopefully I can stop using race fuel with this setup.

- Sorted out the issue with my rear brake.
- Finished installing the front Brake reservoir, Bleeded my Front and rear brakes
- Switched to GP style shifting and took it out for a small ride around the block, don't know why I didn't do this before, I was afraid it would feel unnatural after so many years riding the other way but it felt really good.
- Fixed my safety wiring a bit, gonna take it to Dave for him to fix it a bit better, I am not that good at it

Race bike is finally feeling like a serious bike after spending a good chunk of money on it and doing a lot of work to it, now I just have to get some skill :)

They work. I have them on three different sets of wheels, I wouldn't want them on the street just for the noise, though.

Switched the street bike to GP shifting - I need to practice and make it become natural before the beginning of the season

Thank you youtube how to videos

Picked up new to me spare rims with rotors. Got tires mounted.

Confirmed paint scheme with Carboncat.

Once that is done, I think I am good to go.
