What did you do to your track/race bike today

Oh and I got my 2 rear spare Wheels back from Power Coating black

All you have to do is lash a (registered) plate to it, tape a penlight to it and get some insurance for the week, and yes. Legal in TN and NC, or at least that's what the people who I've talked to here on full race bikes tell me.
 
If you're bored... I've only got a couple of picture links so far, the rest will be uploaded by the photographers later in the week... anyway, stretching out my new Velocity leathers a bit (and giving my fresh VnM gear its first outing)... later in the week I had the GoPro on my track helmet and got some excellent video following three locals, unfortunately I couldn't really get by the slowest of the three to follow the other two without stuffing him in a corner but... will post that up at a later date. 500 miles on my new Q2s and they look like they spent a day at 'bogie. :D

Not much body language on the bike, but this was my first ride of the year, and those big wide bars just don't lend themselves to full off-seat hijinks. More to the point, they don't require them. Anyway...

Finished safety wiring. Ugly but I hope it's ok lol. It belly pan and chain guard on. Bondo and primer on top fairing. Should be painted today. I'm going for the ugliest bike award ;)

Retightened my clipons after having the throttle clipon rotate forwards at the end of the Fabi straight yesterday. Yikes.

I'm pouring a new foundation for her new home. Anyone got a hook up for a lift? Hydraulic preferable
 
Changed the oil and filter. Adjusted the shift lever for better shifting (hopefully.... missed a couple of upshifts on May 2).

If you adjust the lever to GP shift pattern you'll have no more issues with upshifts. :)

Unfortunately my brain probably wouldn't take too kindly to swapping back and forth from street to track and back patterns.. .and a GP kit for the Triumph is too expensive.

bah... I jumped on a stock gixxer for a session with no issues. Jumped on my dirt bike yesterday, also no issues. You can do it!
