What did you do to your track/race bike today

Sweet baybee jeebus is it a b!tch to get a cold dunlop 200/55 slick onto a wheel.
 
Today: installed rear slick and placed numbers on the tail. Not that I need numbers, but why the hell not..

I'm so lazy.... I need numbers. Got to order them up this week or use boat numbers again...
 
Anyone know if pro6 really cares about numbers? I picked a number but don't feel like changing my just for a track day at mosport

yes they do really care. they dont care what the number is at the track as long as its not the same as someone else

Pro6 requires numbers, you must pick them when you create a profile to sign up for track days

Yeah, I picked my birthday as a number '123' (dec 3) when I registered for mosport, but I always pick 5 for any sports, and what is on my current bike.

Maybe i will just stick with '123'

Fired both my track bikes. The 1000 started up ANGRY.

Bolt the fairing to the 600 and I'm ready. Take that!
 
got the new chain and sprocet on the zx6, tire install, now just waiting for exhaust gaskets and engine cover gaskets.
 
Got a clutch cover gasket. Adjusted clutch, can't wait to test it and see if it's any good (I gotta test if it slips under acceleration, so let's hope no popo where I'll do it).

Safety wired most of the bike. Is it ok to wire banjo bolt to banjo fitting on the brakes?

How do you wire hoses (and the filter, on which I'll put a hose clamp)? All the pictures in the internet don't make any sense---wiring the clamp to something---well, what if the screw of the clamp itself backs out?!?!?!

Then the clamp is wired to the bike....:dontknow:

Bike is now ready, new Brembo master cylinder, tires, oil changed. Bring on the track days!

You wire the screw to the clamp then the clamp to the bike. Ill see if I can snap a pic shortly.
