What did you do to your Race/Track Bike today - 2014

Post up your results Dave, I failed badly at Bogie last year.

I'll take some pictures of what I've done and post them. Running it this weekend will be a simple back to back "Yeah, it seems quieter, I guess..." kind of test. A few friends have SPL meters that I can borrow but to do it right I'd have to trailer the bike somewhere open. Too many houses reflecting the sound invalidating the results.

Well, the result is exactly what I thought. "Yeah, I guess it's quieter..." and a bit of "How the hell can it still be so loud with this thing?". I need to get it out somewhere and do a real sound test.

Had a friend who couldn't pass last year. So we stuffed his can with SOS pads and it passed. lol. Then we pulled them out. Did it ever stink. Hope he has it figured out this year.

Repaired crash damage to my fairing, primed painted and clear-coated. Even sanded the blood splatter off the inside. Just need to repair the burn hole in my belly pan, change tires and clean the chain.

Curious to hear what she sounds like with the wrapped exhaust.

Almost finished fitting the new bodywork on the GSXR. I don't understand why everyone makes a bellypan that's too damn long! It seems to be a Gsxr issue.

Gsxr is essentially ready for the Dyno (oil/water chamge first) and I should be picking up my zx10 motor next weekendish. I can drop off one whole bike and pick up the heart for the other.

I can't wait for my neighbours to hear 365hp of I4 beautful greatness erupting from my garage!

New front end (old one had a little too much run out after the great bean field incident of '13). I should have taken it apart. Live and learn I guess. k-tech 25mm kit, and a shock rebuild. Track bike is back together and ready to rock :) Suspension will need some dialing in, but ready to get the season started.

New Chain, New Sprockets, New wheels, Coolant change... just have to mount the bodywork and she's all set!
