Keep in mind you also need a special charger for those batteries, so extra $$ there too. You can't just hook them up to the charger you use for a lead acid battery.
That's what friends with the charger are for :).
From my experience, once you let a lithium battery discharge, you may as well buy a new one, but like i said, that was my experience, not sure if that is always the case.

the shoria is a lith IRON, not ION. battery. trickle chargers are fine. the ion ones need high amp short charge. I use a 2amp trickle. on a total loss system. And with the dollar the way it is I would not get one shipped here now. pu in states.

Hmm...checked the Shorai FAQs and you are right. That certainly wasn't the message I got when I bought mine a few years back.

Still there are a few precautions when using a standard lead acid type charger. Like, you shouldn't do it if the battery drops below 20% charge (12.9 volts).

Is anyone using anti gravity anymore?
I have two. Haven't let me down so far but I've only had them for one season. I just took them off the bikes and brought them inside for the winter. I'll report back come spring.

Installed a 1/4 turn throttle.
Tracked down an electrical break in the keyless ignition modification to somewhere in 3, 1.5" sections of wire. Will see about getting that sorted in the next couple of weeks. Thanks to Mr. Smergy for the tech help!

Turned the motor over to prime the oil pump! Now I just need to install the fuel tank to fire it up. It's been a long time since I've heard this bad boy.

I did take a pic of the fresh cases before putting the exhaust/rad on.

Put it back together. It still starts so I guess I didn't **** anything up. Threw on the warmers and took it out for a couple testing laps to see if the brakes and suspension work. Took it back apart. Shock sent off to Condor. Didn't have the right size pin for my triple stand so the forks will have to wait.

Officially started tear down on new to me bike now that I can somewhat feel my fingers in the garage again
