What did you do to your Race/Track Bike today - 2014

Crap. I wanted to come out and spectate but I'm working until about 4 pm. :(

Ten is ready for CSBK Shannonville!

Looks great, but why does the swingarm look like it can't decide whether to be black or grey?

Working all day Saturday...
I'd take Sunday off but I plan on taking Monday off for SMP.
I need a lot of seat time so I'll try and take advantage of the open track or two groups only days.

Thanks!!! You coming to watch??

Still sorting out my bike unfortunately. And generator - the CT one is finally toast and I put it to the curb for metal recycling. RIP.

Looking sharp. Assuming the QS/Bazzaz is fully resolved. Good luck this weekend!

Thanks!!!

The new Bazzaz is waiting to be picked up in Port Huron right now (so I guess I'm not 100% ready yet).

Tim, just ensure your shifter linkage is well sorted out, meaning that there is no play whatsoever on your shifter as it will vibrate and cause false signals to the QS.

It happened to me at Mosport, It happen to TJ at Grand bend and it Happened to Jared this past race weekend. We all thought it was a problem with the quickshifter but the problem was the actual linkage for all of us. We all have strain gauge QS which I believe is what you have as well.

Yup, I have gone through it and made sure everything was tight and it didn't seem to affect it at all. I might dial down the sensitivity one or two notches.

uhhhh no my problem is not sorted out. my problem is the unit itself, I installed a brand new one , same problems only worse.
some looking around on r1 forums and there having the same problems as me. bike cuts out so bad its not able to ride even in the pits.
I changed the whole qs, and nothing, changed the harness, bike wont even start this time, ground out the plug, bike starts.

For me, Im done with the RL on to another brand, 3 units no worky, TJ no happy

When I had my RL on this bike I had an issue with it when it was new. I ended up replacing my ECU and I got a new QS under warranty. I'm not sure what caused the ECU to grenade.. if it was related to the QS at all??

In my troubleshooting I had read that the RL sometimes has issues if you use the common chassis ground that the main wiring harness uses and that an isolated ground is better.

I ran it on the stand hit the pegs with a hammer, nothing cut,
I went down the straight with my foot away from the qs, still cuts
I took it around the parking lot, still cuts
I took the square sensor, moved it into the tail ( from inside the frame) still cuts
I wrapped it in tinfoil also my whole inside subframe, still cuts
all the wiring is secure but the wires are loose enough not to pinch
there is slack on the end of the wires.
I took the ground plug and grounded out the qs, no spark cuts at all.

the more I read about this product, seems like guys are having problems like mine

I had a problem similar to that with my first one.... the replacement one I got worked flawlessly for just under two seasons.
