What did you do in your garage today..?

I'm getting ready to replace fork oil and dust seals and put in new fork oil. I've never done this before so it will be a fun learning experience.
Same I have do that this year, but I said that last year...

If you're going as far as the dust seals, I'd do the fork oil seals too.

Need special (homemade) tools to get the forks apart? (hold the damper rod) I have a few. Basically ground down sockets welded on a length of threaded rod or the likes. The kind of thing Clymers tell you to make instead of getting special factory tool XYZ.

New trailer bed... I'm guessing pretty close to $200.

Need to replace my existing trailer bed with 3/4” treated plywood. That ain’t gonna be cheap.

Always had luck just using an impact and it breaks it loose without needing to hold it

Started up the track bike and pony this afternoon. Both fired right up, no problems. There was a bit of blue smoke coming from the Tuono but it cleared up after a few seconds.
Let them run for about 10 minutes before shutting them down and plugging them back in.

Slapped a new exhaust on my bike and it all went well except now I can't get my skidplate mounting bracket on. It's off by only about 1/8" - 1/4", so hoping I can bend the metal bracket or something to get this to fit. My hwy pegs attach to the skidplate, so this is a must for me on the longer days.

But the exhaust sounds much better than the stock, while not loud enough to bother people. It's the only part of my bike that isn't covered in salt:)

Does this mean an exhaust will be coming for the FZ1?

Not sure yet. The exhaust I lust for on that bike isn't made anymore, so patiently waiting for one to come up for sale.

Shane......Loosen it all up. Then snug up the bracket first, or snug everything up together.
Good idea. I did that before I put the bracket on - I'll try it again with the bracket. There really is not much I need to gain, so hoping that will work.
