Just came back from the oil change and hydraulic fluid replacement...wow what a difference in clutch / brake pedal feel with the new fluid. So much better now (and it wasn't even bad).

The sled is outside in the snow so there was extra room in the garage. I wheeled the Wing off the lift and onto the scales.
It's only missing two straight exhaust pipes, the rear brake MC, the seat tailpeiec and the front fork brace. It weighed in at 474 LBs. Ready to launch it should just be under 500. Standard wet weight is just over 800LB. Instead of 0.1 HP moving each pound I now have 0.16 HP. That should up the jam some.

That's a helluva diet! My bone stock '75 weighs 603lbs without fuel.
I did help a friend do a drag Gl 1100 a few years back. We removed a lot! Lights, controls, mufflers, tin, seat, battery, a bunch of frame steel, shelters and covers, battery, timing chain cover, 1 rotor and calliper. I changed the tank with a Virago 1gsl support tank and the rad was swapped for a 1.5” copper tube.

The brake lever is just a place holder to help figure out positions. I have yet again decided to change the rearsets. I'm moving the pegs up an inch. Squeeze thought my toes would drag when I was shifting.
I love that big open space where the side covers should be.

you'll get better traction from that rear wheel if you install longer struts. You want the swingarm at 7-12 degrees downward slope to get the virtual traction patch in front of the actual contact patch. The tire will work better.
... and get Shinkos
