Do you do it yourself? I change those in my bike every couple of years but never do the cars.About every 2 years. Did it last year.
The GTI gets an oil change and brake / clutch hydraulic fluid changed this Friday.

No. I’ll pay to get it done. Car is still in warranty and 80/20 will be sold shortly for a replacement so I’d rather have the paperwork.Do you do it yourself? I change those in my bike every couple of years but never do the cars.
I bought a pressure bleeder for the cars. Makes it very fast and easy. As a belt and suspenders approach, once the flush is done, recruit a helper to do the traditional pump/squeeze/bleed for a few cycles on each corner.Do you do it yourself? I have speed bleeders on the bike, I wonder if there is something similar for cars. To make it a one person job.I bought a pressure bleeder for the cars. Makes it very fast and easy. I also ended up with a motorized bleeder that should do the same thing but uses a 12V pump instead of compressed air to push the fluid through. It didn't come with hoses/adaptors and I haven't bothered making a set.
If you're just flushing, use a stick to put pressure on the brake pedal and crack the bleeder. Let some fluid flow out and then tighten the bleeder. Re-fill the reservoir and reset your pedal stick before moving to the next wheel.I have speed bleeders on the bike, I wonder if there is something similar for cars. To make it a one person job.
It's screaming out for a set of flat bars.Last week I found someone who listed Progressive Suspension rear shocks for the Sportster for sale for $250 late in the evening. I messaged him right away like "I'll come right now! No? Ok, see you in the morning??? (phone number)"
Yesterday I installed them.
Rear Progressive shocks, gel seat, forward controls, lithium batteries, passenger pegs, Screamin' Eagle pipes... been busy with the mods this winter. Might just make a respectable ride out of this paint can shaker. Maybe.*

* Not likely, but it's fun AF!
You are lucky, but kids have moved out as they used to help. Wife will not go into the garage in the winterWhat is this "one person job"? My girl knows how to bleed brakes because of how often she gets dragged to do it. Yours can learn too! Or at the very least, nobody tell mine it can be a one man job.

I use these on the brakes and clutch https://www.speedbleeder.com/

Sadly they may not be that great with the forward controls.Agree 100%. I'll probably put drag bars on it at some point in the future.
Friday is going to be a 1 degree scorcher so I'll use that to test out and dial in the new rear shocks. Next week looks cold AF so I'll probably plug in the truck and won't even step outside for a week unless anything needs shoveling. Hermit mode.
Did you freeze the races or just pound em in?Thanks F9 for the All Balls. Triples are back on. Waiting for fork dust seals from France now.

Just came back from the oil change and hydraulic fluid replacement...wow what a difference in clutch / brake pedal feel with the new fluid. So much better now (and it wasn't even bad).Do you do it yourself? I change those in my bike every couple of years but never do the cars.
