What did everyone buy at the show this weekend?

Ended up buying a Bell Vortex helmet with transition visor, gloves, boots, from GP and then an Icon textile jacket ... A very expensive evening indeed! LoL
i wanted a leather jacket but couldn't find anything that caught my eye! Dammit! LoL

Well I'm going today and I'm hoping I find a good deal on a leather jacket (fingers crossed) and my buddy wants another Arai Quantum Helmet in black.
Hopefully this trip isn't a bust.

I'm surprised more people didn't ride there. there were only about 30-40 bikes parked up front (unless there was another bike area elsewhere) yet there were about 400 people in motorcycle jackets wandering around. I guess it's important to let everyone know you're a biker even if you don't ride (oh no u didn't) ;) c'mon 7 degrees in january? gotta be nuts to pass that up.

Probably because tons of people car pooled to save time and sometimes riders go with friends who don't ride. Four of us went together in the same vehicle and two of us ride and two don't so in order to all get there together we had to go by car. Most vehicles in the parking had 3 or 4 people coming out of them, so that would have been a ton of bikes if everyone rode in lol.

I rode the day before, and when i got home from the show, and all this week is showing average 5c+ temps so it's gonna be a commute week again. Sweet winter!

Really curious about the cost of the transition shield. I already have one but could use another. Anyone remember?

i got a gopro motorsport kit from riders choice 250$
couldnt find anything i really liked for appareal but i was after a pair of pants. cant wait for the royal sale in april.

Bell shield was $99, but if I remember correctly it was free if you bought a helmet. The guy at GP demoed it with a flash light - cool shield for sure.

Problem is, she likes simplicity in gear, and all the ladies' jackets are "blinged" out and have real girly designs, which she hates.
She also wants leather, she saw a nice textile jacket or two but she's insisting on leather.
Still have some time before the season starts, so we'll see.

What size are you looking for. I know some onetyhat makes leather jackets . Not sure i can find one with armour but. If you dont want armour you can have a custom made leather jacket that fits your body the way you want for about $250

She has plenty of leather jackets, the idea is to have one with armor.
I'm thinking custom is the way to go... we'll see!

Mohawks for 2 helmets (hers and mine). Rock on.

The shield was about $80 if you used their $40 off coupon they gave out. Listed at $120 on the package.

I know GP bikes was selling them and I think Bob told me they were 170 regular and they would sell them for 110+tax at the show. I think that's what I remember.

Bought some socks, cologne, beef Jerky and a Toronto Sun subscription ... Couldn't find the hall with the motorcycle gear .. :))))

Picked up a pair of Icon boots from GP but they didn't have my size at the show so had to order. Other then that I really didn't see anything particularly interesting. Got there at 10am and was out by noon.
