What are you currently playing?

That is fantastic! Good job! I’d love one in my place if I had the space.

On the board games thanking again to @klr_guy as the kids love playing the games. Haven’t opened monopoly yet because I know all the pieces will be gone in an instant.

Sorry and Trouble on the other hand…toddler tears were shed…SORRY!
Makes me happy they're enjoying them. Sorry for, I'm guessing, your daughter? Life lessons learned...

Been playing this one:

Bought in on a Steam sale for $16, was excellent, well worth it. Plus it has motorcycles!

Decent game. Those hordes are challenging

I was hoping to start playing more PC games but unfortunately I don’t think the Surface Pro 3 and 6 that I have are all that great for gaming.

Any recommendations for games that don’t require big PC upgrades? Casual gaming…used to love WOW and Command and Conquer.

Just scrolling down through my own library...

-Any Supergiant game (Bastion, Transistor, Pyre, Hades)
-A Short Hike
-Bomber Crew
-Braid
-Chicory
-Deltarune (chapter 1 & 2 are free)
-Disco Elysium
-Duskers
-FTL
-Into the Breach
-Night in the Woods
-OneShot
-Papers, Please
-Recettear
-Undertale

Some of those might be a bit iffy if you don't have a keyboard or controller. Into the Breach in particular is very good about being able to put it down/pick it up whenever

I just finished Command and Conquer. I think I still have Warcraft I, but I like Starcraft better.
Have you tried CIV IV? Leonard Nimoy does the voice over. Alpha Centauri is also good.
I haven't had the heart to retry Wing Commander, Wing Commander II, or M.U.L.E., but Dungeon Keeper Gold & 2 have been pretty good. I'll have to get back to Homeworld.

Wow Wing Commander, there's a wayback playback.

Homeworld was awesome.

You could go with a gaming subscription from Ubisoft or Xbox. I have the Xbox Gamepass right now and can play a lot of games in the browser on pretty much any device. I play on my MacBook Pro. Decent library and about the same price as Netflix.

Any PC gamers upgraded to a 50 series card yet? I was thinking of it, but it's next to impossible to secure a card at the moment... pretty much have to camp out at Canada Computers - when cards to arrive they are gone in minutes :/
Not yet, I will be getting one sometime this year hopefully. Slowly working on a new build and going to try and get my hands on a 5070 ti as that seems to be the best value for dollar for the more casual gaming I do. I jump around from Red Dead 2 and GTA V, and then to the more heavy game of Star Citizen which is the real reason I want to beef up my system.

That's a baller setup, I'm on 3 series (3060Ti).
Once other vendors start to make them should be better supply as it was just released.

Been playing this fun little game:

That is motorcycle money, I don't know who is buying these things or why. Apparently Doom: The Dark Ages is going to require a raytracing enabled GPU, so I am waiting to see how it will perform on an Intel Arc B580 or B570 when it releases in a couple months.

I'm running a 4090, so hopefully I don't need to upgrade until 8xxx 😫

Dont they take deposits?

During Covid/2021 I paid CC for the 3090 ahead of time and I got it a month later...definitely overpaid for it at $2500 lol.
need to get my money's worth out of it now.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 just dropped, i'm a few hours in and it's amazing!!!!!!!!!

trailer looks really good, my only issue with the game is it looks like it is all in first person. I prefer being in 3rd person for a few reasons, you can better see these amazing worlds they have created and you can see the character you are playing and enjoy the creating how your character looks and actually getting to see it!
